Itinerary
- Day 1
Airport to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Your driver meets you at the airport and heads toward Queen Elizabeth National Park. On the way, you'll stop at the Ugandan equator in Kayabwe to grab photos and pick up souvenirs. Lunch happens at Igongo Cultural Center in Mbarara, which gives you a feel for local culture before continuing. Once you enter the park, a short game drive lets you scan for elephants, hippos, buffalo, and lions. Then it's off to Buffalo Safari Lodge for dinner and your first night, where you can settle in and rest up.

Queen Elizabeth National Park
An early start means heading out on a morning game drive toward Kasenyi plains. You'll spend about 2-3 hours looking for kobs, bushbucks, elephants, and lions before coming back for breakfast at the lodge. After eating, there's some downtime before the afternoon boat cruise. Then you head out on Kazinga Channel between Lake Edward and Lake George, where hundreds of hippos, birds, and other creatures hang around the water. Back at Buffalo Safari Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Queen Elizabeth National Park to Entebbe Airport
After breakfast, you visit Katwe salt lake to see how local communities extract salt as their livelihood, including the gear they use for protection. The transfer to Entebbe comes next, with a lunch break at Agip Motel in Mbarara along the way. Before reaching the airport, you'll stop at the equator one more time for final photos and souvenir shopping. Then depending on when your flight leaves, you head to the airport for departure.
