- Day 1
Hanoi
You'll land in Hanoi and a driver from Legend Travel Group will be waiting to take you to your hotel. Once you've checked in, the rest of the day is yours to use however you'd like, whether that's resting up from your flight or getting out to see some of the city.

Hanoi
After breakfast, you'll head out with a guide to visit Hanoi's main historical spots. The itinerary includes Tran Quoc Pagoda on Golden Fish Island, the Ho Chi Minh complex, One Pillar Pagoda, the Vietnam Ethnology Museum (or Women's Museum if it's Monday), Temple of Literature, and Hoa Lo Prison. You'll grab lunch at a local restaurant before heading back to your hotel.

Hanoi
You have the whole day to yourself after breakfast. Walk around Hoan Kiem Lake and the Old Quarter, check out shops for souvenirs, or dive into local street food. Head back to your hotel when you're ready.

Hanoi to Halong Bay
After breakfast, a van picks you up around 8:30 or 9:00 am for a 3.5 hour drive to Halong City, taking you through countryside and rice paddies. You'll board an authentic Chinese junk and cruise Halong Bay, visiting a cave and swimming in the water before anchoring for the night with dinner and a chance to swim in phosphorescent water under the stars.

Halong Bay to Hanoi
Wake early to catch the sunrise and feel the ocean air. You'll cruise through thousands of islands and stop at a floating fishing village to learn about the fishermen's lives, then head back to Halong City pier. From there, you'll return to Hanoi, arriving around 3:30 or 4:00 pm with free time before transferring to Hanoi Railway Station for the overnight train to Hoi An.

Train to Hoi An
Your overnight train arrives in Hoi An between 12:30 and 1:30 pm. You'll handle your own breakfast and lunch on the train, then a representative will transfer you to your hotel after disembarking. Spend the rest of the day exploring Hoi An's UNESCO World Heritage site at your own pace.

Landmarks/POIs Hoi An Ancient Town - Day 7
Hoi An
You'll spend the full day exploring Hoi An's historic trading center heritage. Visit temples showing Chinese and Japanese influences, a chapel from the 1700s, and the Sa Huynh Museum near the Japanese Covered Bridge. Take a boat trip on the Thu Bon River to Kim Bong Village to watch traditional woodworkers and shipbuilders at work. Later, you have free time to wander Hoi An Ancient Town in the evening.

Hoi An to My Son
You'll depart at 8:00 am after breakfast for My Son, a UNESCO World Heritage site 50 km southwest of Hoi An. Check out the red brick towers and sanctuaries from the 7th to 13th centuries and learn about the Cham civilization, including intricate carvings and sculptures. You'll get back to Hoi An by 1:00 pm to grab lunch on your own and have a free afternoon for shopping or exploring.

If you go with the optional tour, you'll cycle to the village, try organic farming, learn traditional cooking from a local family, have lunch with them, and then have the afternoon free to explore Hoi An or relax at Cua Dai beach before returning around 3:30 pm.
