Itinerary
- Day 1
Casablanca to Marrakech
You'll land at Casablanca airport and get picked up for the drive to Marrakech. After checking into your riad in the medina, spend the afternoon and evening getting comfortable with the city. The medina's got plenty of energy, so you can wander around at your own pace, grab some food, and get a feel for where everything is.

Marrakech to Ouarzazate
Breakfast comes first, then you'll head out on a guided tour hitting the main sites: Bahia Palace, Saadian Tombs, Koutoubia Mosque, and Jamaa El Fna square with its street performers and energy. After lunch you'll drive toward Ouarzazate, crossing through the Tichka Pass and stopping at Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO site that's worth the photo stop. You'll arrive in Ouarzazate by evening with dinner and overnight there.

Ouarzazate to Merzouga
After breakfast you're heading toward the Sahara, driving through Tinghir to see Todra Gorge with its towering canyon walls. From there you'll continue through smaller towns like Tinjdad and Erfoud toward Merzouga and the Erg Chebbi dunes. Once you arrive, there's mint tea waiting and then a camel ride out to your desert camp. As the sun goes down you'll have dinner under the stars with music and a campfire, then settle into your tent for the night.

Merzouga to Fez
You'll wake early to catch the desert sunrise, have breakfast, and then start the long drive toward Fez. The route takes you through Erfoud, Errachidia, and along the Ziz Valley. There are stops in the Cedar Forest where you can see monkeys, and in Ifrane, which locals call the lion city. You'll pull into Fez by evening and stay in a riad in the medina.

Fez to Chefchaouen
After breakfast you'll join a guided tour through Fez's medina. You'll see El Quaraouiyine Mosque and University, the South Tower, a pottery village where craftspeople work, Nejjarine Square, the Royal Palace, the famous tanneries where hides get dyed, and the Jewish Quarter. Later in the afternoon you'll drive to Chefchaouen and check in at your hotel in this distinctive blue town.

The morning is yours to walk around Chefchaouen and see the blue-painted buildings and streets. Then you'll drive toward Casablanca, stopping in Rabat to visit the Mohammed V Mausoleum and Hassan Tower. Once in Casablanca you'll see Mohammed V Square and the Hassan II Mosque before checking into your hotel for the night.
