Itinerary
- Day 1
Delhi
After arriving in Delhi, your Edshil tours host will be waiting to drive you to your hotel. Later that day, you'll hop into a rickshaw to explore the city's busy markets, check out some impressive mosques, and see the Red Fort's architecture up close. There's also time to climb up the Qutub Minar minaret and visit an old Mughal tomb before settling in for the evening.

Delhi to Mandawa
Following breakfast, you'll head to Mandawa and get checked into your hotel. In the afternoon, a walking tour takes you through the city to see the painted havelis belonging to local business families like the Chowkhani and Gulab Rai Ladia families. You'll spend time looking at the detailed frescoes decorating these historic buildings throughout the day.

- Day 3
Mandawa to Bikaner
The drive to Bikaner brings you to a former trading hub with connections across Africa, West Asia, and beyond. On a guided tour, you'll check out camel breeding farms, see Junagarh Fort with its impressive red sandstone and marble work, walk through Lallgarh Palace, and look around the Fort Museum to see royal family items. Local bazaars offer chances to pick up souvenirs before heading back.

- Day 4
Bikaner to Khuri
You'll travel to Khuri, a quiet village featuring mud and straw houses decorated with Persian carpet-like patterns. Out on the sand dunes, you'll take a camel ride through the Rajput landscape. As evening comes around, you'll gather with other travelers by a campfire where the Kalbeliyas perform traditional songs and music.

Khuri to Jaisalmer
Heading to Jaisalmer, known as the 'island in the sand,' you'll explore this 12th-century settlement in the heart of the Thar Desert. The itinerary includes stops at Gadisagar Lake, the fort with its Jain temples and palaces inside, and two significant havelis, Nathmal and Patwa, each with their own architectural charm.

- Day 6
Jaisalmer to Jodhpur
After a five-hour drive, you'll reach Jodhpur, a city founded in 1459. You'll visit Mehrangarh Fort, which sits about 400 feet above the city and offers commanding views. From there, you can see Jaswant Thada, a 19th-century cenotaph, and Umaid Bhawan Palace, known for its distinctive rose-colored sandstone that gives the city much of its character.

Jodhpur to Udaipur
After eating breakfast, you'll start toward Udaipur. En route, there's a stop in Ranakpur, an important location in Jain tradition. You'll tour 15th-century marble temples dedicated to Adinath, which feature 29 halls, 200 different pillars, and 20 domes. Later you'll continue on to Udaipur and check into your hotel there.

- Day 8
Udaipur
Following breakfast, a local tour takes you around Udaipur, nestled in the Aravalli Ranges. You'll drive past Fatehsagar Lake, see the Jagdish Temple from 1651, and walk through Saheliyon Ki Badi garden. The afternoon features a visit to the large City Palace complex, and you'll have the option to take a boat ride on Lake Pichola to see the Palace, Jag Mandir Island, and Jag Niwas Island from the water.

After breakfast, a four-hour drive brings you to Pushkar, home to the world's only Brahma Temple. You'll see other temples and the 52 bathing ghats around Pushkar Lake where people go for ritual baths. Then you'll drive to Jaipur, the 'Pink City,' designed in the early 1700s with its distinctive rose-colored buildings, and settle into your hotel for the night.

Jaipur
Following breakfast, you'll visit Amber Fort, which sits on a hilltop with distinctive architecture and great views. In the afternoon, you'll explore the City Palace, check out ancient astronomical instruments in the Observatory Tower, and see the Hawa Mahal, an ornate structure built so royal women could watch the streets without being seen.

In the morning, you'll drive to Ranthambore, one of India's top tiger reserves and the best spot to see tigers in the wild. After checking into a wildlife resort and having lunch, an afternoon safari lets you observe animals in their natural setting. The evening is yours to rest and prepare for an overnight stay at the resort.
