Easter Island Airport/Bus Station to Hotel
You'll get picked up from Mataveri International Airport or the bus station and driven to your hotel in the area you've chosen on Easter Island. The ride comes in a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle that fits up to 3 adults or a mix including kids up to 6 years old. Everything's covered including tolls and parking, and there's no rush on the transfer timing.

Easter Island
After leaving your hotel, you head to Rano Kao Volcano to see its deep crater with a freshwater lake covered entirely in totora reeds. From there, you'll check out Orongo, which served as the ceremonial center for the annual Tangata Manu or Bird Man ceremony. You can walk around over 100 petroglyphs showing the God Make Make, the Tangata Manu, and the Manutara sea bird. Later you'll see Ahu Vinapu, a ceremonial platform known for its careful construction, then get driven back to your hotel.

- Day 3
Easter Island
This day offers an optional Half Day Akivi Tour available for an extra fee. If you book it, you'll visit the restored Ahu Akivi with its 7 Moais located in the middle of the island, representing the 7 explorers sent by King Hotu Matua. You then go to the unrestored Ahu Hanga Poukura and explore Puna Pau, the topknot quarry with its red scoria stone where all the Pukaos were carved. After that, you'll return to your hotel.
