Itinerary
- Day 1
Fes to Merzouga
Your pickup happens early from your Fes hotel, and then you're heading south into the Middle Atlas Mountains. The drive takes you through Ifrane and Azrou, where you'll see cedar monkeys hanging around in the trees. From there, the road climbs through mountain passes and you'll get views down into the Ziz gorges. You'll stop in Midelt around lunch time to grab food on your own. After eating, continue driving toward the Sahara, passing through Erfoud where there's a fossil workshop if you want to check it out. By evening, you'll reach the Erg Chebbi Dunes at Merzouga and have dinner at your auberge before settling in for the night.

- Day 2
Merzouga to Fes
Get up early to climb the dunes and watch the sunrise from up there, then have breakfast. Later you'll take a camel ride back to the auberge and have time for a shower. After that, you'll transfer back to Fes and your driver will drop you off at your hotel.
