Lenggries to Bad Wiessee
Start by taking the train to Lenggries, then walk the Via Alpina trail to Aueralm while trying some Bavarian food along the way. You'll continue through forests and meadows with views of Lake Tegernsee, then descend to Bad Wiessee for the night.

Bad Wiessee
Do a round-trip hike to Mount Riederstein and take in the views from the top. Stop by the mountain inn Galaun and the mountain chapel, then head back to the lakeshore where the Tegernseer Bräustüberl beer garden sits in a former monastery. End the day with a boat ride back to Bad Wiessee.

Bad Wiessee to Lake Schliersee
Walk from Lake Tegernsee to Lake Schliersee following forest paths and alpine pastures. You'll stop at the Neureuth beer garden for a break where you can see the lake, then continue to the Gindelalm alp before descending to Lake Schliersee with its marina and spa park.

Lake Schliersee to Lake Spitzingsee
Follow the lakeside adventure path to Fischhausen, then head along former forest railway tracks up to the Spitzingsattel col. From there, continue to Lake Spitzingsee for swimming and boating, walk around the lake, and take a break at the historic Wurzhütte chalet before returning by bus to Schliersee.

Lake Schliersee to Bayrischzell
Take the cable car to Mount Taubenstein summit station and follow a high altitude path with views of the Tyrolean Karwendel mountains to the Rotwand House. After that, continue to Lake Soinsee and walk through alpine pastures and flowering meadows to reach Bayrischzell for the night.

Bayrischzell
Walk up Mount Wendelstein, which is Bavaria's most popular panoramic mountain, via the King-Maximilian-path that passes a waterfall. You'll reach the summit with its meteorological observatory and can optionally explore the Wendelstein cave. After a snack in the panorama-beer garden, take the cable car back down to the valley and walk back to Bayrischzell.
