- Mary· March 20th, 2024We are just finishing our Best of Sri Lanka and Maldives tour. The Sri Lanka itinerary was perfect. We saw and experienced so many things: stunning temples, majestic scenery, a beautiful beach, an old Dutch fort, etc. But it was our guide, Sasika who made the trip spectacular. I didn’t expect the tour to be just my husband and myself but it worked out great. Sasika was very easy going and fun to be around. He was always generous with advice and recommendations (and he found the best restaurants). He was always there for us, which really made our time in Sri Lanka great. The Maldives was beautiful. The flight was fine and we met up with the representative easily but to be honest, the hotel, Kaani Grand Seaview, was only ok. It would have been great if we were in our 20s but not so much when you are in your 70s. The people were nice, the beach was across the street, but the air conditioning just couldn’t handle the hot and humid weather (the maintenance person checked it and it got alittle better but it was never comfortable in the room). And because we had an early flight (9:40 am) and the hotel’s earliest transfer was 8 am, we were going to have to pay for our own speed boat transfer so we just moved to a hotel near the airport for the last night. Great hotel with working air conditioning- pure bliss. There was a beach also across the street and In truth, Hulhumale was more interesting to walk around than Maafushi. But I do highly recommend this tour company, especially for tours in Sri Lanka. They were very quick to respond to any question I had prior to arriving and Sasika followed up on any question once we were on the tour. I would definitely use them again.Show more

Everyday was packed with UNESCO historical sites, great Safaris, up close and personal interactions with locals at cultural sites and local businesses. We saw so much countryside.. thick jungles, tea plantations and rice paddys. The hotel accommodations were fantastic. Everyone was so friendly. Our guide was the best!! Sidath treated us like royalty, explaining everything (history, the people and traditions, the culture and in depth knowledge of all the places). Cami has the best recommendations and knows exactly where to go to get the best food and experiences in Sri Lanka. Cami has great conversations and taught me so much about Sri Lanka’s culture and history. I felt safe and comfortable when driving with Cami. The Sri Lankan people are happy and welcoming.
