Itinerary

  1. Day 1

    Vancouver to Kelowna

    You'll start heading east through the Fraser Valley, stopping for a short walk to Bridal Veil Falls where you can see the water cascade down. After that, you'll pass through Hope, the town where they filmed Rambo. Then it's time to cross the Cascade Mountains and check out Lightning Lake in E.C. Manning Provincial Park. Later in the afternoon, you'll head toward Penticton and try paddleboarding on Skaha Lake if conditions look good. By evening you'll settle into Kelowna and have an Indigenous-inspired dinner.

  2. Day 2

    Kelowna to Lake Louise

    This morning you'll start with pastries at Frind Estate Winery bakery in Kelowna, and you'll get nice views of the vineyards and Okanagan Lake while eating. From there, you'll travel east across three mountain ranges that pass through four National Parks on the way to Banff. During the journey you have the option to kayak on Lake Revelstoke, or stop at Craigellachie to see where the last spike of the Canadian Pacific Railway was driven. Later you'll cross Kicking Horse Pass into Alberta, and by the end of the day you'll arrive at Lake Louise with the Rocky Mountains all around you.

    We are looking at this trip to get us to Calgary for a tour which starts on august 23 (a meet and greet day) What time does roadrunner arrive in Banff we will need to be able to get transport to Calgary that afternoon/evening or stay in Banff overnight and travel next morning Also the location where you finish. Is it near a transport hub We are seniors from Australia.

      We will generally arrive in the evening, and it would be best to book ongoing travel for the following day. We finish at the Hi Banff Alpine Centre, but we do drop off at other locations. I would suggest you book the Banff Airporter or Brewster Express services to Calgary for the following day.
