Itinerary

Day 1
Ngorongoro Crater
You'll start the day with breakfast at your hotel around 7am, then drive out for about 3 hours toward Ngorongoro Crater. Once you arrive, you'll have more than 6 hours to walk around the crater floor and look for wildlife throughout the day. Lunch gets served at a picnic site while you're out there. After that, you head back toward Arusha Town, so expect to be on the road again in the late afternoon.

We modified the itinerary to have additional days in the Serengeti and Bernard was very helpful in organising the new itinerary. They were quick to reply and made sure we had everything we needed. Bernard kept in contact leading up to the tour and was very helpful with any questions. There was an included airport pick up and drop off in the tour. We had an included Arusha city tour the morning before we flew out. The campsites in the Serengeti are very basic and not necessarily well maintained but the tents and camping equipment provided by the company were good. Free WiFi was also provided on the tour. Our driver Richard from Mashindiko tours was amazing! He did everything he could to ensure we saw as much as possible. He really made the tour one to remember!

Payment information
- For any tour departing before February 9th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after February 9th, 2026, a minimum payment of 20% is required to confirm your booking with Safari Serengeti Booking. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
- Some departure dates and prices may vary and Safari Serengeti Booking will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
- The following cards are accepted for "Safari Serengeti Booking" tours: Visa, Maestro, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal. TourRadar does NOT charge you an extra fee for using any of these payment methods.
