Itinerary
- Day 1
Arrival in Chiang Mai
Your guide meets you at Chiang Mai airport with a welcome sign and takes you to your hotel. After checking in, the rest of the day is open for you to get settled and wander around the city at your own pace.

- Day 2
Chiang Mai Sacred Temples and Markets
Start by exploring both the old city and newer sections of Chiang Mai, looking at Buddhist temples within the ancient walls. You'll climb 309 stairs up Doi Suthep Mountain to reach Wat Phra That Doi Suthep, then continue to Wat Jed Yod and Wat Suan Dok. After lunch, stop by the Sankampaeng outlets for shopping before heading back to your hotel with the evening to yourself.

Chiang Mai to Golden Triangle via Chiang Dao and Mae Salong
Head north from Chiang Mai and stop in Chiang Dao to try Royal Project coffee and check out the local Hmong hilltribe market. Continue to Thaton where you'll see temples and have lunch near the Kok River. Drive through tea plantations on the way to Mae Salong, where you'll notice the Chinese-style buildings, then travel to the Golden Triangle for your overnight stay.

Golden Triangle to Chiang Mai via Mekong River and White Temple
After breakfast, drive to Sop Ruak to see the Golden Triangle where three rivers meet at the borders of Laos and Myanmar. You'll get on a private long-tail speedboat to explore the area and visit Don Sao Island in Laotian territory. See the ancient ruins and temples from Chiang Saen's old kingdom, and on the drive back to Chiang Mai, stop at Wat Rong Khun (White Temple) before returning to the city.
