Itinerary

1. Day 1

   Colombo to Sigiriya

   You'll arrive at Bandaranaike International Airport in Colombo where your tour representative greets you with a flower garland. From there, you transfer to Habarana and check into your hotel in Sigiriya. Spend the rest of the day relaxing however you like, getting settled and recovering from your flight.

2. Day 2

   Sigiriya

   After breakfast, you head to the sacred city of Anuradhapura to walk through its ancient temples and ruins. In the afternoon, you travel to Mihintale and see its historic temple complex. Later, you return to your hotel in Sigiriya for the night.

3. Day 3

   Sigiriya

   Following breakfast, you climb the famous Sigiriya Rock Fortress and take in the views from the top. Later, you drive to the medieval capital of Polonnaruwa to check out its ancient ruins and temples. You head back to your hotel in Sigiriya for the night.

4. Day 4

   Sigiriya to Kandy

   After breakfast, you depart for Kandy, stopping at the Dambulla Rock Cave Temple on the way. You then visit a spice garden and batik factory before arriving in Kandy. After checking in at your hotel, you see a Kandyan dance performance in the evening, followed by a visit to the Dalada Maligawa (Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic).

5. Day 5

   Kandy

   Following breakfast, you spend the day exploring Kandy at your own pace. You can wander through local markets, pick up souvenirs, and check out cultural attractions around the city. By evening, you return to your hotel for the night.

6. Day 6

   Kandy to Nuwara Eliya

   After breakfast, you visit the Royal Botanical Garden and then continue toward Nuwara Eliya. You stop at a tea factory along the way to learn how tea production works. Once you arrive, you see Victoria Park and Gregory Lake before checking in at your hotel.

7. Day 7

   Nuwara Eliya to Tissamaharama

   Following breakfast, you leave for Kataragama and stop to see the 26-foot Ravana waterfalls along the way. You check in at your hotel in Tissamaharama, and mid-afternoon, you head out for a Jeep safari in Yala National Park to spot wildlife.

8. Day 8

   Tissamaharama to Mirissa

   After breakfast, you transfer back to Mirissa with stops to see Hambantota Salterns and watch stilt fishermen at Weligama. You continue to the historic Galle Fort before arriving in Mirissa for your overnight stay.

9. Day 9

   Mirissa

   Following breakfast, you head out on a whale and dolphin watching tour from Mirissa. Afterward, you return to your hotel in Mirissa for the night.

10. Day 10

    Mirissa to Colombo
