Casablanca to Rabat
Your guide meets you at Casablanca airport and drives along the Atlantic coast through farmland to reach Rabat. After settling into your accommodation, you can spend the afternoon wandering through the city's layout and checking out the Mellah Jewish quarter, old ramparts, Souk Laghzel for yarn, the Oudaya Kasbah, Hassan Tower, Mohamed V Mausoleum, and Chellah Necropolis if you're interested.

Rabat to Ouazzane to Chefchaouen
The drive takes you through Jbala mountains to Ouazzane, a historically significant center of Sufism. From there, you continue on to Chefchaouen, the old Moorish white town where you'll stay in a riad. Your host greets you with traditional mint tea and homemade cookies.

Chefchaouen to Fez
Leaving Chefchaouen, you travel through the Amergou Mountains and villages lined with evergreen forests. You'll visit the Roman settlement of Fez el Bali, then hike in Tamesnit in the Rif Mountains to reach Belvedere Lalla Outka and the shrine of Moulay Bouchta El Khammar, a pilgrimage site for Berber musicians. That evening, you camp with a Berber family who prepares traditional food for a tribal dinner.

Fez to Taza
In the morning, you head to Taza, an ancient gateway city to the Middle Atlas. The route crosses through pine, acacia, and cedar forests where you might see monkeys and birds. You do a moderate hike in the Jebala Mountains, explore a day market in a nearby village with traditional souks, then return to your hotel in Taza for dinner.

Taza
Your local guide takes you through Old Taza in the morning, showing you the historic sites. Later, you hike to the Friouato mountains and explore the Friouato caverns. The afternoon involves seeing Berber villages and scenery away from typical tourist routes before heading back to your hotel for dinner.

Taza to Fez
After breakfast, you tackle steep mountain terrain starting at Tazekka National Park with cliff-hanging villages and neolithic terraces. You stop at Chikar caves to see the geology, cross through cedar and cork pine forests on Mount Ahmar, and have a picnic lunch at Bab Arba pass overlooking Maghraoua valley. Then you trek to Berber villages like Ribat el Kheir and Bir Tamtam, then to the thermal springs at Gorges of Sidi Harazem near Fez. You stay overnight in a Beni Sadden compound.

Fez
You spend your entire day in Fez's walled medina with your female guide starting at Bab Ftouh gate. The walking tour covers monuments, mosques, fountains, Koranic schools, and craft workshops. Afternoon brings a visit to traditional potters outside the ramparts. Back at the Berber compound, you enjoy an evening with Kansara drummers and Ahaidous rural dancing by the Beni Sadden tribes, plus a couscous dinner with local musicians.

Fez to Moulay Idris to Volubilis to Casablanca
You drive toward Mount Zerhoun, leaving the Atlas Mountains and heading into the Rif Mountains. After visiting Moulay Idris, an 8th century Islamic town on steep slopes, your guide leads you through narrow streets. Later, you descend via a Millennium footpath through ancient olive groves following Roman cartwheel paths to Fertassa village. You have lunch by a biblical olive tree, then continue to the Roman site of Volubilis before driving back to Casablanca for the night.
