Arrival in Fez
You'll land at Fez Saiss airport where someone meets you at arrivals. A driver takes you to your hotel so you can check in and settle into your room. Dinner and your first night's accommodation are included, so you can relax after traveling.

Fez
This morning you're exploring the Medieval Medina in Fez, walking through neighborhoods with deep spiritual roots. You'll see the Attarine and Bou Anania Medersas, the Nejjarine fountain, Moulay Idriss mausoleum, and pass by the Karaouyne Mosque from outside. After lunch back at your hotel, the afternoon takes you through the souks where local merchants sell everything from spices to leather goods. An optional dinner at a traditional restaurant in the Medina includes folklore entertainment if you're interested.

Fez to Marrakech
Early departure takes you to Rabat, Morocco's administrative center. You'll check out the Royal Palace (Mechouar), stroll through Ouadayas Garden and Kasbah, then see the Mohamed V Mausoleum and Hassan Tower Mosque. Lunch featuring fresh fish is available if you want it. Later you're heading to Marrakech by highway, and by evening you'll arrive at your riad to rest after the drive.

Today covers Marrakech's main attractions. You're visiting Menara Garden, the Saadian Tombs, Bahia Palace, Koutoubia, and Dar Si Said Museum throughout the morning and early afternoon. After lunch at your hotel, you'll walk through the souks and handicraft quarters where local artisans display their work. By evening, head to Jemaa el-Fna Square where street performers and musicians keep things lively into the night.

Marrakech to Zagora
Your route takes you through the Tizi N'tichka pass at 2260 meters elevation on the way to Ait Benhaddou. This UNESCO site is the day's main stop, a kasbah that's been featured in numerous films. You can grab lunch on site with views of the structures, then continue onward to Zagora where you're staying tonight.

Zagora to Erfoud
Morning visit to Tamgroute's Pottery Center shows traditional craftsmanship, then you're heading toward Erfoud through pre-Saharan landscape and small Berber villages like Tazzarine and Alnif where lunch is available. The route passes through Rissani, an important historical birthplace of the Alaouites Dynasty. An optional 4x4 excursion to Merzouga dunes for sunset viewing or a full overnight stay in a bivouac with dinner can be arranged if interested.

Lunch is available at a restaurant right at the canyon's base. This afternoon heads toward Ouarzazate via the Road of 1000 Kasbahs, passing through Kalaat M'Gouna and Skoura village along the way.
