Itinerary
- Day 1
Marrakech to Skoura
You'll be picked up from your Marrakech accommodation and driven through the High Atlas Mountains, passing through lush valleys and traditional Berber villages. The route takes you to Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site fortified village that's served as a movie backdrop for numerous films. After lunch, you'll continue on to Ouarzazate and then head toward Skoura Oasis, where you'll see authentic Kasbahs scattered throughout the palm grove valley. Dinner and overnight stay are included at your accommodation here.

- Day 2
Skoura to Merzouga
Following breakfast at the hotel, you'll head out from Skoura and drive alongside the Dades River through a lush valley filled with ruined kasbahs and distinctive rock formations. You'll reach Todra Gorge, a striking natural canyon set within the Atlas Mountains. After having lunch, the drive continues south to Merzouga, where you'll meet your camel caravan for about an hour-long trek across the Erg Chebbi dunes. By sunset you'll arrive at your luxury desert camp, complete with deluxe tents, private bathrooms, and hot showers for your overnight stay with dinner included.

- Day 3
Merzouga to Zagora
You'll start before sunrise to watch the desert come alive, then have breakfast at the camp. After riding camels back to meet your driver, you'll visit fossil workshops and the village of Rissani. The journey then takes you south through the Draa valley, where extensive palm groves and old villages line your route. Lunch stops in Alnif before you continue to Zagora, the administrative center of the region and the historic starting point where trading caravans once departed for Timbuktu. You'll have dinner and spend the night at a hotel in Zagora.

Zagora to Erg Chigaga
After breakfast, you'll head toward the vast Erg Chigaga desert. Along the way, you'll stop at the authentic village of Tamgeroute to see its famous library, pottery factory, and underground Kasbah. From there, it's on to the small village of Mhamid where you'll have lunch and some time to relax. Then comes an approximately 1.5 hour off-road drive through rocky desert terrain to reach the Erg Chigaga dunes. You'll visit the sacred Oasis, watch the sunset from the sand dunes, and settle into your deluxe tent for the night, which includes private bathrooms and hot showers.

Erg Chigaga to Marrakech
The final day starts with sunrise at the Erg Chigaga dunes and breakfast at the luxury camp. You'll then drive across the ancient Paris Dakar race road, making stops at the dry lake of Iriqui and the village of Foum Zguid. Lunch will be in either Taznakht, a village known for woven carpets, or in the High Atlas Mountains depending on the route chosen. You should arrive back in Marrakech by late afternoon, completing your desert and mountain journey.
