Itinerary
- Day 1
Kathmandu
You'll touch down at Kathmandu airport and meet your Escape Himalaya representative who handles your transfer to the hotel. After you get settled, take some time to rest and let the guide walk through the trek itinerary with you, answering any questions about what's ahead.

- Day 2
Kathmandu to Lukla to Phakding
An early morning flight from Kathmandu to Lukla takes roughly 35 minutes with mountain views the whole way. The Lukla airfield itself is interesting, with a 60-meter elevation difference between runway ends. From there, you trek to Phakding through green terrain with views of Kusum Kangraru Peak at 6,367m.

Phakding to Namche Bazaar
This day involves trekking along the Dudh Koshi River and climbing through Himalayan pine and cedar forests to reach Namche Bazaar. As a major hub in the Khumbu region, this town offers views of Everest, Thamserku, and Nuptse. The route passes through woodlands and near small rivers throughout.

Everest View Hotel - Khumjung/Khunde
You'll hike up to the Everest View Hotel, which sits at one of the world's highest elevations for a hotel. The location provides views of Mount Everest and surrounding peaks like Lhotse, Ama Dablam, and Nuptse. After spending time there, you continue to the Sherpa village of Khumjung or Khunde, stopping at the Sherpa Culture Museum and Everest Photo Gallery on your way back.

Khumjung/Khunde to Lukla
You'll trek back along the Dudh Koshi River toward the mountain airstrip at Lukla. The trail offers good views of the region's landscape as you make the descent. Once you reach Lukla, you'll spend the night there before catching your return flight to Kathmandu tomorrow.

Lukla to Kathmandu
The flight from Lukla back to Kathmandu gets you there in the morning. After landing, your representative transfers you to your hotel. You'll have the rest of the day free to relax at the hotel or walk around Kathmandu if you feel like exploring.

Departure
Three hours before your scheduled flight departure, an Escape Himalaya representative will pick you up and take you to the airport for your journey home.
