Itinerary
- Day 1
Kathmandu to Sundarijal to Chisopani
You'll depart early around 8:00 am by car, bus, or van heading to Sundarijal, then begin your hike up to Chisopani at 2200m. The trek takes roughly 5 hours as you pass through Shivapuri National Park with its forested trails and elevation gain. By evening, you'll settle into a family-run tea house in Chisopani for your first night, getting a feel for local Nepalese hospitality.

Chisopani to Nagarkot
Wake up early to catch the sunrise from Chisopani, and you'll see about twenty snow-covered peaks spread across the horizon. After breakfast at the tea house, you'll trek to Nagarkot over roughly 6 hours on a fairly straightforward trail. The walk takes you through terraced fields and forest sections before reaching Nagarkot, where you'll stay at a hotel offering mountain views for the night.

Landmarks/POIs Chisopani Nagarkot - Day 3
Nagarkot to Changunarayan to Kathmandu
Start this morning early to watch another sunrise, and from Nagarkot you can see Mount Everest along with other peaks in the distance. Once you've had breakfast, you'll trek down to Changunarayan and visit the historic Changunarayan Hindu temple, an important cultural site in the valley. From there, you'll drive back to Kathmandu for your final overnight stay, ending your trek.
