Santiago
You'll meet up with a Globus representative in Santiago for orientation. Your Tour Director joins you starting on Day 5, so you have some time to settle in and get your bearings before the main group activities begin.

Santiago to Easter Island
You're flying out to Easter Island, which sits about 2,200 miles off Chile's coast. It's one of the most remote spots you can visit, famous for its over 400 moai statues and mysterious archaeological sites that researchers still puzzle over today.

Easter Island
This morning you'll take a private guided tour through Easter Island's major archaeological sites. You'll check out Ahu Vaihu with its eight ruined statues, head to Rano Raraku quarry where 394 partially-carved moai sit scattered around, see the restored 15 statues at Ahu Tongariki, and finish at Anakena Beach where legend says the first king arrived.

You'll continue exploring with visits to Rano Kau Volcano and its freshwater lake, then move on to Oratorio's ceremonial village with its restored ancient houses. After that, you'll check out Ana Kai Tagata's rock-carved cave, see the central island moai at Ahu Akivi, and finish at Puna Pau quarry where craftspeople carved the red stone topknots.

Santiago
Today is yours to spend however you like in Santiago. You can walk through the vibrant neighborhoods, visit art galleries or museums, shop around, or try some local restaurants. On this guided city tour, you'll see Santiago's mix of old and new. The itinerary includes the Government Palace, Plaza de Armas, and the Cathedral. You'll grab lunch at a local restaurant, then head to La Vega Central Market with its 2,000+ vendors. Later you'll try a traditional terremoto cocktail at a local pub, and finish up on Cerro San Cristobal for city and Andes views.

You're flying to Punta Arenas on the Strait of Magellan, then taking a scenic drive through the Patagonian steppe toward Puerto Natales. Along the way, keep your eyes open for guanacos, condors, foxes, chinchillas, and if you're lucky, pumas. Dinner's included at your hotel.

Torres del Paine
You'll start at Milodon Cave where prehistoric fossils from 14,000 years ago have been discovered, including saber-toothed tigers and giant sloths. Then you're heading into Torres del Paine National Park for a guided hike through this UNESCO Biosphere Reserve where you can see waterfalls, glaciers, lakes, and wildlife. The day ends with a traditional BBQ dinner using fresh ingredients from the hotel's garden.

You'll spend the full day in Torres del Paine taking in the dramatic landscapes. You'll see Los Cuernos with its jagged granite peaks, check out the spectacular Salto Grande waterfall, and walk around Laguna Azul where guanacos and condors often show up. The day wraps up at Cascada Paine, a beautiful waterfall surrounded by rugged terrain.

Your morning is free to explore El Calafate at your own pace. You can walk along Lake Argentina's shores, browse local shops, or eat at restaurants. In the afternoon, head to the Glaciarium to learn how glaciers form and grow, then cool off at the GlacioBar with a frosty drink. Later you'll experience traditional Patagonian ranch life at a historic estancia with gauchos, sheep-shearing, and a sunset BBQ dinner.
