Itinerary
- Day 1
Vientiane
You'll land at Wattay Airport and head to your hotel in central Vientiane. Once you've settled in, take a walking tour around the Lao capital to get oriented. Later in the afternoon, find a spot by the Mekong River to relax with a drink and watch the sunset.

Luang Prabang
Start with breakfast, then spend the morning visiting Wat Sisaket and Wat Prakeo. From there, see the That Luang Stupa and Patuxay Monument, walk through the Morning Market, and check out the National Museum. In the afternoon, fly to Luang Prabang and get to your hotel. After resting, explore the Night Market and hike Mount Phousi to catch the sunset over the city and river.

- Day 3
Luang Prabang
After breakfast, you'll visit Luang Prabang's oldest temples like Wat Visoun, Wat Aham, Wat Mai, Wat Sene, and Wat Xiengthong. Next, take a boat upstream along the Mekong to Pak Ou Caves, which hold thousands of gold Buddha statues. Stop at Ban Xanghai to see rice wine production, then visit Ban Xiengmene and Ban Chan villages. Later, explore Wat Longkhoun and finish at Ban Phanom, where local artisans do hand weaving.

Luang Prabang
Consider waking early to watch monks collecting alms, a unique Lao Buddhist practice. Stop by Phosi Market to see local goods and weavings. Visit Ban Ouay, Ban Ou, and Ban Thapene villages to see Lao ethnic minority crafts. Head to Kuangsi Waterfalls where you can swim in the pools and walk through the forest. Get back to Luang Prabang by evening to watch the sunset at Wat Siphouthabath.
