We made a big mistake to visit temples on our own for the first two days without guide as we thought it would be more private and we did not want to rush but since we did not have much background in the history, we felt we did not really understand much of reasons behind the temple construction. My partner and I then decided to check out guided tours available and we found Vietlong travel tours. Our trips were far more meaningful with our tour guide, Phalla M, who really gave us a better understanding of each fascinating ruins, ancient culture and contemporary Laos lifestyle.
