Itinerary
- Day 1
Cairo
You'll land in Cairo and meet your Ancient Egypt Tours representative at the airport terminal. A private air-conditioned vehicle takes you to your hotel, with check-in happening around 14:00 or 15:00 depending on the hotel's policy. If you arrive early, you can either wait at the hotel or arrange a pre-tour extra night for immediate access to your room. Your guide will reach out to confirm the meeting times for your tour.

Cairo
After breakfast at the hotel, your personal guide meets you for a full day on Giza Plateau. You'll see the Great Pyramid of Khufu, Khafre's pyramid, and Menkaure's pyramid along with their smaller companion pyramids, then check out the Great Sphinx and the Valley Temple. There's a photo stop to capture the three pyramids with Cairo's skyline behind them. Lunch happens at a local restaurant, and the afternoon takes you to the Egyptian Museum where you can walk through over 250,000 artifacts spanning 5,000 years of Egyptian history, including King Tutankhamen's golden treasures.

- Day 3
Cairo to El Bahariya Oasis
You'll leave Cairo at 8:00 AM for a four-hour drive (about 385 km) to El Bahariya Oasis. Once you arrive, the oasis tour begins with lunch. The day includes visits to the Temple of Alexander the Great, tombs of the nobles, and English Mountain, then a one-hour camel caravan ride. After dinner, there's an optional soak in the natural hot springs if you'd like. Later you'll return to Cairo for the night.

- Day 4
Cairo
With breakfast done at the hotel, you'll spend the day in Coptic Cairo with your private guide. You'll see Babylon Fortress and the Hanging Church, Church of St. Barbara, Church of St. Sergius, and Ben Ezra Synagogue, then head to Amr Ibn El-Aas Mosque, the first mosque built in Egypt. The Church of Simon the Tanner comes next, associated with the story of moving the Mokattam Mountain. A warm lunch follows at a high-quality restaurant. In the afternoon, the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization near Old Cairo shows artifacts from Pharaonic, Roman, Coptic, Islamic and modern periods, including the royal mummies hall.

Cairo Departure
After breakfast at your hotel, you'll head to the airport for your departure flight. An Ancient Egypt Tours representative will pick you up and handle your transfer. If your flight leaves early before breakfast time, the hotel can prepare a breakfast box for you to take along.
