- Day 1
Arrival in Entebbe
You'll touch down at Entebbe Airport where someone from the tour company meets you and drives you to your hotel or lodge. This gives you time to settle in after your flight and get oriented.

- Day 2
Batwa Cultural Trail in Mgahinga National Park
After a domestic flight to Kisoro in southwestern Uganda near Rwanda and Congo, you'll head to Mgahinga National Park for the Batwa Cultural Trail. You'll spend time with Uganda's pygmy community learning about their traditional ways, forest knowledge, herb medicine, and how they collect water and build shelter. The day ends with a cultural performance at Garama Cave before you transfer to your lodge for the night.

- Day 3
Mountain Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
This is the main event. You start early with a briefing at the visitor center and get assigned a guide, then head into Bwindi Impenetrable Forest to track mountain gorillas. The trek through forested slopes and bamboo can take around 2 hours or longer as your guide looks for signs. Once you find one of the nine family groups, you'll have up to an hour watching them in their natural habitat. After that, you head back to your lodge to rest and process what you've seen.

- Day 4
Departure from Kisoro
You catch a domestic flight from Kisoro back to Entebbe in the morning for your departure. Keep in mind your lodge stay isn't included tonight. If you're driving instead, make sure your flight leaves at 10 pm or later. You can arrange optional accommodation in Kampala or Entebbe if you want it, but you'll need to request that ahead of time.
