Day 1
San Cristóbal
You'll land at Puerto Baquerizo airport where someone will be waiting to greet you personally and then drive you to your hotel. After settling in, head to Loberría beach, which is only about 10 minutes from the airport. The beach has coral sand and you can see sea lions, marine iguanas, plus various seabirds like frigate birds and finches hanging around.

San Cristóbal
Start with hiking and snorkeling at Cerro Tijeras, a hill where frigate birds show up regularly so you'll have good chances to watch and photograph them. From there, the Interpretation Center is next on your list to learn about the islands' natural history and what conservation work is happening here. Later in the day, move on to Playa Mann, a white sand beach where you can snorkel, swim, or kayak before watching the sunset from the shore.

Travel inland about 19 kilometers to El Junco Lagoon, an old volcano that's now a freshwater lake ringed by plants found nowhere else. This spot is known for bird watching, particularly if frigate birds are what you want to see. You'll have time for hiking around the area, watching birds, and taking photos of the landscape and whatever wildlife you come across.

One of the most interesting places I have been to. Our guide and driver were excellent. We learned so much about the area history and environment from our guide, Andres. He provided many good recommendations on which museums, restaurants, and other places to visit as options on the tour. We were very pleased with his recommendations and help. If I did the tour again, I might splurge on the pricier hotel room package. The basic package was a really good hotel though, very clean and good breakfast but directly across from hostels and lacking amenities like a full restaurant, lounge, etc. However, there is a chinese restaurant across the street that was delicious.

This tour was arranged for my clients. They absolutely LOVED the location of the first hotel, though there were some hiccups with the arrangements. They said the tours were good as well. The 4 stars come as a result of communication with the tour operator. Responses were not provided in a timely manner, which means I could not relay information to my clients in a timely manner.

Payment information
- For any tour departing before January 13th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after January 13th, 2026, a minimum payment of 20% is required to confirm your booking with BM Tours. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 70 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
