He was there for airport pick ups and drop offs in Kathmandu and organised these in Chitwan and Pokhara. He changed our itinerary without hesitation in Kathmandu, as we had seen those sites already and gave us a full day of sight seeing in amazing locations. He organised our flights to Chitwan and back from Pokhara and our driver from Chitwan, who was also excellent.Show more

We were expecting a few other travellers on the tour, but it was only the two of us with Ras our guide. Because we travelled by public and regional buses, we needed to take only small bags and leave our big suitcases at the Kathmandu. It was fortunate that we had smaller bags to take. Ras is a nice friendly guy, who clearly communicated with us when to leave to catch the buses and took us to the hotels. He was also very informative with the questions we had. Unfortunately there is a "but". A big feature of the tour was the views of the Himalayas and we had some hillside accommodation stops for the views. However there was really bad air pollution wherever we went and we didn't see any Himalayas views. There was also a lot of travelling on poor roads that took a long time made worse by the never ending roadworks. There is so much to see in the country and the tour provided us a combination of both guided visits and times to explore on our own which was really nice. From visiting temples and historic sites, to exploring the forests of Chitwan National Park, to sunrise viewing of the Himalayas, all was amazing. Our guide, Raj, was knowledgeable and kind, very gracious, and shared a great deal of information and knowledge. He moved quickly through areas that he knew but also met the pace we wanted to experience the various facets of Nepal with. - WPWilliam· October 7th, 2023We had a really wonderful time on our trip to Nepal. Everyone at Everest Tours was really helpful and our driver Raju was excellent. Accommodation and food was good too. We got to see everything mentioned in the tour information. The only downside was the travel between locations which, due to the road works, was not a pleasant experience. We were in a small car which is really not suitable for the terrain, suggestion would be that the tour operator should be using 4x4 vehicles for these trips.
