Itinerary
- Day 1
Marrakesh
A driver meets you at Marrakesh airport and takes you to your hotel. You'll have the rest of the day to settle in and get oriented before your first night in the city.
 - Day 2
Marrakesh
After breakfast, a local guide walks you through Marrakesh's main historical sites. You'll see Bahia Palace with its beautiful 19th-century gardens, then move on to the royal Saadian Tombs and Koutoubia Mosque. From there, head into the energetic Jamaa El Fna square where you can wander around on your own for the rest of the afternoon. You'll spend another night in Marrakesh.

Marrakesh to Boumalne Dades
Your driver picks you up early for the journey into the High Atlas Mountains, passing through small Berber villages along the way. You'll reach Ait Ben Haddou, a 17th-century kasbah that's been featured in films like Lawrence of Arabia and Gladiator and is protected by UNESCO. After lunch nearby, you'll tour Kasbah Taourirt, then continue through Skoura and the Valley of Roses toward Boumalne Dades where dinner and overnight accommodation wait.

Boumalne Dades to Merzouga
After breakfast, you'll head from the Dades valley toward the Sahara Desert, driving through Tinghir and the dramatic Todra Gorge with its limestone river canyons. The route continues through Tinejdad and the oasis town of Erfoud. By late afternoon, you'll take a camel ride out to your private desert tent as the sun sets, then enjoy dinner, campfire music, and an overnight stay under the stars.

Merzouga to Fes
After breakfast, you'll travel from the Sahara toward Fes, passing through the scenic Ziz Valley and the commercial hub of Midelt. You'll drive through cedar forests where Barbary macaques live, then reach Ifran with its alpine-style architecture and nearby ski slopes. By early evening you'll arrive in Fez and check in for the night.

Fes
After breakfast, a guide takes you through Fes's historical landmarks for the full day. You'll visit Madrasa El Bouinania, a 14th-century example of Marinid architecture, and El Quaraoiyin Mosque and University, which has been operating as an educational institution longer than any other in the world. Other stops include the South tower, a pottery village, Nejjarine Square, and the royal residence. You'll have free time to wander on your own and stay another night in Fes.

Fes to Chefchaouen
After breakfast, you're heading to Chefchaouen and will pass through Meknes first, where you'll see its imperial heritage and the famous Bab Mansour gate with its intricate arches and mosaic work. You'll also stop at Volubilis, an ancient excavated city that was once the capital of Mauretania. When you reach Chefchaouen, you'll walk through the blue-washed buildings of the old city, check out Place Outa el Hammam, the 15th-century red-walled Kasbah fortress, and the Ethnographic Museum. You'll have some free time and stay overnight in Chefchaouen.

Chefchaouen to Casablanca
After breakfast, you'll travel to Rabat via Ouazane and surrounding villages. In Rabat, you'll see Oudaya, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Hassan Tower minaret built in 1195, and the Mohammed V Mausoleum where three kings are entombed. From there, continue to Casablanca to see Mohammad V Square with its French Colonial buildings and fountain, plus the Hassan II Mosque finished in 1993. The mosque is Africa's second-largest with the world's second tallest minaret at 210 meters. You'll stay overnight in Casablanca.

After breakfast, you'll drive to Essaouira along the coast, passing through El Jadida, Mazagan, and Safi. You'll have free time to explore this coastal city and stay overnight in Essaouira.

Essaouira to Marrakesh
You'll have a free half-day to check out Essaouira's coastal attractions, including its reputation as a windsurfing spot from April through November, the fortified medina, art galleries, boutique shops, and the busy fishing port with traditional boat construction. Your driver picks you up around 4 pm and takes you back to Marrakesh for your final overnight stay.
