- Day 1
Cairo
You'll arrive in Cairo and connect with your Ancient Egypt Tours representative at the airport exit. A private air-conditioned vehicle brings you to your hotel, where standard check-in happens at 2 PM. If you land earlier, you can settle in at the hotel lobby or arrange an extra night if you want to access your room right away.

Cairo
After breakfast at your hotel, your personal guide meets you for a full day exploring Giza Plateau. You'll see the three pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinos along with the Great Sphinx, then stop at the Valley Temple for King Chephren before lunch. The afternoon takes you through the Egyptian Museum to view Pharaonic treasures and King Tutankhamun's collection.

Cairo to Luxor
Breakfast at your hotel comes first, then you'll transfer to the domestic airport for your Luxor flight. Once you land, you're driven to your 5-star Nile cruise ship where lunch is served on board. Your Luxor tour begins with the East Bank, visiting Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple, with free time for shopping before you settle in for the evening on the cruise ship.

- Day 4
Luxor
Starting early after breakfast, you head to the West Bank to see the Colossi of Memnon, two massive statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III. Next comes the Valley of the Kings where you'll enter 3 tombs including King Tutankhamun's. Following lunch at a local restaurant, the Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut is next. You'll have dinner and tea on board as the ship sails toward Edfu.

Edfu to Kom Ombo
Breakfast comes on board during your sail to Edfu, where you'll explore the temple dedicated to Horus, Egypt's second largest temple. Lunch is served on the ship, then you continue sailing to Kom Ombo to see its unique double temple honoring Sobek and Haroeris, built during the Ptolemaic period with later Roman additions. Dinner is on board as you arrive at Kom Ombo.

Kom Ombo to Aswan
Aboard breakfast precedes your sail to Aswan, where you'll visit the High Dam built between 1960 and 1970 to control the Nile and produce electricity. The Unfinished Obelisk comes next, the largest known ancient obelisk likely meant for Queen Hatshepsut. You'll also see the Temple of Philae on Isis Island and the Granite Quarries. Afternoon tea and a Galabya party dinner happen on board as you arrive in Aswan.

Cairo to Alexandria
After breakfast, you drive roughly 210 kilometers to Alexandria, known as the Pearl of the Mediterranean. You'll check out Montazah Palace and Gardens spanning 317 acres, see Pompay's Pillar from the 4th century, and explore the Catacombs with its three underground levels. Lunch comes at a local restaurant, then you'll drive along the Cornish, cross the Stanley Bridge, and visit Qaitbay Citadel built where the ancient Pharos lighthouse once stood. Before heading back, you'll see the new Bibliotheca Alexandrina library.

Alexandria to Cairo
Breakfast precedes your transfer back to Cairo by air-conditioned vehicle. Upon arrival, you'll visit the Citadel of Salah El-Din for sweeping Cairo views, then the Mohamed Ali Alabaster Mosque, the largest mosque built in the 19th century using Turkish style. After a quality lunch, you'll explore Old Cairo including the Hanging Church from the 3rd-4th century, Abu Sirga Church, and the Ben Ezra Synagogue dating to the 15th century. The Amr Ibn El-Aas Mosque, Egypt's first mosque, comes next. If time allows, you can stop at Khan El-Khalili Bazaar before returning to your hotel.
