Day 1
Arrival in Goa
You'll be picked up from Goa Airport or Railway Station and taken to your hotel by private transport. A welcome drink gets things started, then the rest of the day is open for you to settle in and explore the area on your own terms.

North Goa Tour
After breakfast, your private taxi picks you up for a full-day tour through North Goa. You'll stop in Panaji to see Kamat Tower, Patto Plaza, and Mall De Goa, then move on to historic churches like Saligaon Church and St. Alex Church. The afternoon takes you to popular beaches including Baga, Calangute, Candolim, and Sinquerim, wrapping up with Fort Aguada before heading back to your hotel.

You'll start after breakfast on a full-day South Goa tour hitting Old Goa's main sites: the Basilica of Bom Jesus, Old Goa Museum, and the Old Secretariat. From there, you check out Panjim Market and the Goa Science Center, then head to Dona Paula Beach and Miramar Beach for some coastal time. The day also includes Bhagwan Mahavir Garden, Casino Point, and River Cruise Point before you're dropped at the Railway Station, Airport, or your chosen location.

The tour is immersive to get in contact with local people and culture and it is an amazing chance to interact with the elephants in a respecting way. The experience was incredible, we spent some time with four big elephants which were very curious and always hungry! The mahouts were encouraging and the volunteering staff very welcoming and kind: our coordinator Pradeep was the best! He and the driver Totaram were willing to help us in every way. We met and spend an amazing time also with another volunteer and the guesthouse family and all of them were very helpful and sweet! We would like to come back again in the future.

Payment information
- For any tour departing before January 8th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after January 8th, 2026, a minimum payment of 30% is required to confirm your booking with Volunteering With India. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 65 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
- Some departure dates and prices may vary and Volunteering With India will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
- The following cards are accepted for "Volunteering With India" tours: Visa, Maestro, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal. TourRadar does NOT charge you an extra fee for using any of these payment methods.
