Itinerary
- Day 1
Quito to Cotopaxi National Park
Start with breakfast at your hotel before meeting your guide for the drive south toward Cotopaxi National Park. The route takes you through the Andes with plenty of scenery along the way. Once there, you'll stop at the park's Interpretation Center and check out Limpiopungo lagoon. A short hike through the valley comes next, then you'll head up to Padre Rivas Refuge sitting at 15,800 feet. If your fitness level allows, you might make it to the Glacier at 5,050 meters. Grab typical Ecuadorian lunch at a local restaurant, then settle in for the night.

- Day 2
Cotopaxi to Baños
After breakfast, travel through the Avenue of the Volcanoes and pass through Pujilí. Visit an indigenous local house to learn how people live in the Paramos and their traditions. From there, head to Tigua, which is known for its naive paintings, and continue on to Quilotoa volcano. You can either descend to the crater lake or walk the rim, and mule riding or kayaking are available if interested. Later, drive to Bañós and visit the Swing at the End of the World at La Casa del Árbol for mountain views before your overnight stay.

- Day 3
Baños to Quito
Begin with breakfast at your hotel, then head to Pailón del Diablo, one of Ecuador's notable waterfalls. Take a cable car ride over the Pastaza River with 360-degree views of waterfalls, mountains, and the surrounding landscape. The rest of your day is open for optional activities like rock climbing, trekking, and biking if you want to add those (they cost extra). Have lunch, then drive back to Quito.
