Itinerary
- Day 1
Istanbul to Cappadocia
Your hotel pickup happens early morning, then it's off to the airport for a domestic flight into Cappadocia. Once you land and meet your guide, the real exploration begins. You'll walk through Devrent Valley to see those distinctive fairy chimneys, then head to Pasabag where the rock formations look like giant mushrooms. The town of Avanos comes next, followed by time at the Open Air Museum in Goreme where you can check out the ancient churches carved right into the rock. Before wrapping up, you'll see the natural castle at Uchisar before heading to your hotel to settle in for the night.

- Day 2
Cappadocia to Izmir
After breakfast, your guide meets you for a day focused on South Cappadocia. You'll hike about 5 km through Rose Valley and Red Valley, walking past rock-cut churches along the way. From there, you head to Cavusin Village to see the old Christian clergy houses and church structures, then continue to Pigeon Valley. Lunch breaks up the day, and then you'll descend into either Ozkonak or Kaymakli underground city to explore where early Christians lived centuries ago. By afternoon you're transferred to either Kayseri or Nevsehir airport, fly to Istanbul, and then catch a connection to Izmir where you'll be picked up and driven to your hotel.

Izmir to Ephesus to Istanbul
After eating breakfast at your hotel, you meet your guide for a full day centered on Ephesus and its ancient sites. The Temple of Artemis comes first, the one that was counted among the Seven Wonders of the ancient world. Then you'll spend time walking through the Greco-Roman City of Ephesus where the preservation is really quite good. Lunch happens in between, then you visit the House of Virgin Mary which holds significance for both Christian and Muslim visitors, plus the Isabey Mosque. After this you're transferred to Izmir airport for an evening flight back to Istanbul, where you're picked up and taken to your hotel. Your tour services conclude.
