- Day 1
Hanoi to Ba Be National Park
Your hotel pickup in Hanoi gets you moving toward Ba Be National Park. Once you arrive and check into your homestay, there's time for lunch before heading out on the water. The 2-hour boat trip takes you around the lake to Fairy Pond and An Ma temple, and you'll get a chance to swim in the lake waters. After that, you hike back to the traditional Tay people stilt house where dinner and your first night are waiting.

- Day 2
Ba Be National Park
Breakfast at the homestay fuels a full day of medium trekking through Tay villages. You'll cover about 12km starting from Pac Ngoi village, passing through Mo and Lom villages on your way to Qua village where lunch happens. The trek continues to Chay village before returning to base. If you're up for it, there's swimming available after, then you settle back at the homestay for dinner and another night.

Ba Be National Park to Cao Bang
After breakfast, cycle 6km to Hua Ma Cave, which is the largest cave in the park, then cycle back to the homestay for checkout. Lunch follows, and then you head toward Cao Bang, arriving as the sun gets lower. A local restaurant provides dinner, and you'll spend the night at a 3-star hotel in town.
