Itinerary
- Day 1
Bangkok
Your guide will be waiting at the airport to collect you and drive to your hotel. After you settle in, the rest of the day is open for you to recover from travel and adjust to the time difference.
- Day 2
Bangkok
Start early to visit Bangkok's major Buddhist temples. You'll see Wat Traimit first, where a 900-year-old golden Buddha sits inside. From there, head to Wat Arun on the Chao Phraya River, then move on to the Royal Grand Palace and Wat Phra Kaew, which is Thailand's most sacred temple. Plan for several hours to take in all four sites.

This morning begins at the Train Market outside Bangkok where trains actually pass through the market stalls. Later you'll go to Damnoen Saduak Floating Market to try local food and snacks. By evening, check out Jim Thompson House to see its art collection before heading back to your hotel.

Bangkok to Siem Reap
After a short rest, you'll head to the airport for your flight to Siem Reap. Your local guide meets you upon landing and takes you to check in at your hotel. The afternoon and evening are free for you to walk around and get familiar with the area.

Siem Reap
Early morning starts at the South Gate of Angkor Thom with its row of carved statues. You'll then visit Bayon Temple and the Elephant Terraces. In the afternoon, explore the massive Angkor Wat complex itself. Finish the day at Bakheng Hill where you'll watch the sunset from above the temple ruins and jungle.

Siem Reap
Wake up early to see the sunrise over Angkor Wat, then grab breakfast back at your hotel or out. Next, visit local villages in the area before heading to Banteay Srei Temple, which has detailed carved reliefs. After lunch at a local spot, you'll check out Ta Prohm Temple with tree roots growing through the structures and Ta Keo Temple, built entirely of sandstone.

Spend the morning in a Khmer village walking through rice fields and seeing palm trees. Then take a boat to Tonle Sap Lake, Southeast Asia's largest freshwater lake, where you'll see floating houses and local fishermen at work. After lunch, you'll fly to Ho Chi Minh City where a guide meets you at the airport and takes you to your hotel. The evening is yours to explore.

Ho Chi Minh City
Morning trip goes to the Cu Chi Tunnels, the underground Vietcong network from the Vietnam-American War. You'll return to Ho Chi Minh City in the afternoon to visit five main sites: Ben Thanh Market, War Remnants Museum, Reunification Palace, Old Saigon Post Office, and Dong Khoi Street with its French colonial buildings.

Spend the day cycling through the Mekong Delta before driving two hours to Cai Be. You'll take a boat to the Cai Be Floating Market and visit an island where they make coconut candies, popcorn, and rice paper by hand. Later you'll have a meal with a local family and bike through villages to meet farmers and learn about rice cultivation (varies by season).
