Itinerary
- Day 1
Arrival in Olgii
You'll meet your Discover Altai team in Olgii city and then drive out to Oigor valley, which marks the northern entrance to the national park. Once there, you'll set up camp and get settled in for the evening. Your expedition chef will have a meal ready, so you can relax after the drive and get acclimated to the area.

- Day 2
Horse Trekking to Base Camp
This is a horse trek day heading to Base Camp at 3,100 meters altitude. Camels carry the baggage, so you'll just focus on the ride. Along the way, you'll see panoramic views of the Altai Tavan Bogd Mountains, including the highest peak and the largest glacier in the region. Before heading out, you'll get safety instruction for all riders.

- Day 3
Malchin Peak Climb
You'll climb Malchin peak early in the morning for views looking out toward Mongolian and Russian landscapes. The main trail follows the mountain edge with stones, so no special climbing gear is needed. The climb takes around 7 hours total, then you'll head back down to Base Camp for the night.

- Day 4
Descent via White River Trail
After breaking camp, you'll hike back down to the entrance, but this time on a different trail that runs alongside the White River. The route offers nice views of the Altai scenery throughout. If you have energy left, there's an optional evening visit to Green Lake, a small lake with snow-capped peaks around it. That walk takes about 2 hours if you decide to go.

- Day 5
Khoton and Khurgan Lakes
You'll drive south to the Khoton and Khurgan lakes area of the national park. Along the way, you'll stop to check out archaeological sites, including a Stone Man monument from the X-XIII century and ancient cemeteries. Later, you can swim in the lake if you want, and in the evening there's grayling fishing if that interests you.

- Day 6
Eagle Hunter's Family and Waterfall Valley
Today you'll visit an eagle hunter's family to learn about their traditions and way of living. You'll get insight into the eagle hunting culture and nomadic lifestyle directly from them. After that, you'll hike for about 3 hours through Waterfall Valley to see more of the Altai nature. That night you'll stay in a traditional yurt with your nomadic hosts.

- Day 7
Return to Olgii
You'll drive back to Olgii today, a journey of about 5 to 6 hours through the Altai mountains. Once you arrive, you'll check into your hotel and have some downtime before heading out for a farewell dinner at a local restaurant.
