Itinerary

Day 1
Jaipur
You'll arrive in Jaipur and get picked up from the airport, railway station, bus stand, or wherever you're staying. Head to your host family's place to settle in. Before anything else, you'll have your first home-cooked Indian meal and get some rest after your journey. Then at 2:30 p.m., a taxi takes you to the Children's Program Center for an introductory meet-and-greet with the kids and a rundown of what the program involves.

Day 2
Jaipur
A project taxi picks you up at 9:00 a.m. for the ride to the Children's Program Center. You'll spend about 3 hours there teaching basic English and Maths, helping with writing practice, and running games and creative activities with the kids. Back at your accommodation by 12:30 p.m., you'll have lunch and take some downtime. At 2:30 p.m., head out on an afternoon sightseeing tour around Jaipur, getting back around 6:00 to 6:30 p.m.

Jaipur
Your final day starts at 9:00 a.m. when a project taxi takes you to the Children's Program Center for your last volunteer session. After saying goodbye to the children at 12:30 p.m., you'll return to your accommodation for lunch and rest. Then at 2:30 p.m., you're out for another sightseeing tour to catch any attractions you might have missed. Following the tour, you can walk around local markets and nearby temples at your own pace before wrapping up your time in Jaipur.

The tour is immersive to get in contact with local people and culture and it is an amazing chance to interact with the elephants in a respecting way. The experience was incredible, we spent some time with four big elephants which were very curious and always hungry! The mahouts were encouraging and the volunteering staff very welcoming and kind: our coordinator Pradeep was the best! He and the driver Totaram were willing to help us in every way. We met and spend an amazing time also with another volunteer and the guesthouse family and all of them were very helpful and sweet! We would like to come back again in the future.

Visa
- Unfortunately we cannot offer you a visa application service. Whether you need a visa or not depends on your nationality and where you wish to travel. Assuming your home country does not have a visa agreement with the country you're planning to visit, you will need to apply for a visa in advance of your scheduled departure.
- Here is an indication for which countries you might need a visa. Please contact the local embassy for help applying for visas to these places.
Payment information
- For any tour departing before January 6th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after January 6th, 2026, a minimum payment of 30% is required to confirm your booking with Volunteering With India. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 65 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
- Some departure dates and prices may vary and Volunteering With India will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
- The following cards are accepted for "Volunteering With India" tours: Visa, Maestro, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal. TourRadar does NOT charge you an extra fee for using any of these payment methods.
