Itinerary
- Day 1
Ston to Mostar
You'll get picked up from your hotel, airport, or marina and head through Ston, a Croatian city known for its old walls and seafood. After you walk around and grab a snack there, you'll continue to Neum, Bosnia and Herzegovina's only coastal city, then on to the small village of Blagaj to see the Dervish Ottoman Monastery. You'll handle lunch or early dinner on your own before checking into your Mostar hotel, and the rest of the day is yours to do as you please.

Kravica Waterfalls - Počitelj - Mostar
After breakfast, you'll head to Medjugorje, a major Catholic pilgrimage site since 1981. You can visit the cathedral and optionally climb the Mountain of the Cross if you're up for it. Then you'll see the Kravica Waterfalls with its 30m cascade dropping into a natural 150m amphitheater. You'll walk through the walled old town of Počitelj with its medieval and Ottoman architecture, where there's a local riverside restaurant if you want to grab lunch. You'll get back to Mostar with the evening free.

Mostar to Sarajevo
You can either take an optional morning walking tour of Mostar or skip straight to heading for Sarajevo, the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The city's known as the 'Jerusalem of Europe' because of its religious and cultural diversity, and you'll find a mosque, Catholic church, Orthodox church, and synagogue all in the same neighborhood. After you check in and rest from the drive, you're free to explore on your own. The first formal sightseeing tour kicks off tomorrow.

Landmarks/POIs Sarajevo - Day 4
Sarajevo
Start with a long walk through Sarajevo's old town and visit two fortresses that sit above the city. You'll take the recently renovated cable car (it reopened in 2018) that connects the old city with Mount Trebević. The afternoon is yours to spend however you like, wandering the lively streets, finding food, and taking in the atmosphere before heading back to Mostar.

Vjetrenica Cave - Zavala Monastery - Trebinje
After breakfast, you'll visit several interesting sites on the way to Stolac, including the Radimlja necropolis with its medieval stećak tombstones, which are among Bosnia's most valuable medieval monuments. You'll explore Vjetrenica Cave, the largest and most important cave in Bosnia and Herzegovina with over 7km explored, where you can choose a short or longer excursion depending on your fitness level. Before the day ends, you'll visit the nearby Zavala Serbian Orthodox Monastery, which is partly situated within a cave and has been historically important since the 16th century. You'll finish up in Trebinje.

Trebinje
You'll take an easy morning stroll through Trebinje's charming old town and the surrounding area. In the afternoon, you'll visit a well-known local winery, then have leisure time to explore and relax at your own pace.

Dubrovnik
You'll visit Tvrdos, a Serbian Orthodox monastery just 10 minutes from Trebinje, which is dedicated to the Dormition of the Most Holy Theotokos and was established in the 15th century (the cathedral was built around 1508). The monastery is known for quality wine production. After that, you'll head toward Croatia and cross the border. Depending on weather and what you'd prefer, you might stop at a charming beach for swimming in clear water before returning to Dubrovnik.
