During that time and with the careful planning and flexibility by Nepal Lion Tours and Treks I managed to fulfill a 45 year ambition to get to Annapurna Base Camp (4130m) with my son. Followed by a successful trek to Kyanjin Ri (4770m) in the Langtang Himalaya and then on to the Holy lake at Gosainkund. Everything went smoothly and the pace was adapted to meet my needs. Sohan was very patient and always there to help me. His knowledge of the mountains and of the wildlife (yes we actually saw a Red Panda) was unsurpassed. We even had time to visit his home village and meet family and friends. I would thoroughly recommend Nepal Lion Tours and Treks to organise your trekking trip, regardless of your ambitions. They are knowledgeable, thoughtful and will go the extra mile to adapt planned itineraries to suit your needs and changes in circumstances. He not only be good at English, but also have a wide knowledge about Himalayan culture and fauna and flora. Moreover, he took care of each of our members, from providing us what we need (sleeping bag, walking stick, crampon, etc.) to going side by side with me when I was the slowest person in group. Also, I would like to express my gratitude toward our porters, Raj and Dancing :Although they don't speak English, I can feel that they tried their best to help us. I remembered how happy we were whenever we saw them at the tea house where we stayed overnight. Thank you so much,Sonam , Raju and Dancing.
