Asked on February 9th, 2025Are your trips scheduled or do you do the tours based on demand. I am from PNG and would like to know an indicative cost for the whole trip.
Knutson TravelsOperator•Written February 2025We offer our Singapore & Malaysian train tour year-round, but we specifically schedule it in March and April to coincide with the Songkran Festival in Thailand, another tour we offer. If you would like to travel at a different time, please let us know, as pricing varies throughout the year. For four passengers (Pullman Cabin staterooms), you would be accommodated in two separate cabins. The price per person is $7,695. However, if you wish to upgrade the cabin on the train or select a different date, the price is subject to change.

We do not offer a group tour in February, only in March. The rate you see in the tour is for a group tour only which departs March 30, the solo traveller rate is $10,645 USD & at this time we do not have along solo traveler to pair you with to receive the $7,695 rate. The rate includes the hotels, transfers, activities while in Singapore & on the train.

The train portion of the tour is more formal than the Singapore portion, where a sport coat and tie for men and subtle evening wear for ladies during dinner & evening activities. The attire during the day is smart casual.
