Overall a pretty great experience. There are some long excursions (Torres del Paine) and the weather can be, obviously, unpredictable. But the agency is responsive and friendly. I would recommend taking flights when possible instead of the long bus rides; and I wish we had gotten to spend more time in El Chaltan. But again, overall a great experience!

    Katherine

    Asked on August 3rd, 2025

I have a question about the itineray of the Excursions and the Full Day Tours of this tour. It says, that there is no guide included. Does that also mean, that the excursions are without a guide and travellers have to take care themselves or will someone be there at these excursions as well?

    Tour Details
    • Hi Travel ArgentinaOperatorWritten August 2025

Our tours are not group tours, meant for independent travelers. That means you take the buses and do the trip without a group and or tour conductor. But all the day trips that are included in the tour, like the Torres del Paine day trip of the Perito Moreno glacier day tour, indeed include a bilingual guide. You are picked up at your accomodation with the bus or minibus and a guide, he/she tells you about the activity and the atraction and you are brought back to your accommodation at the end of the day tour.

    • K

      Katherine

      TravelerWritten August 2025

Is the overall tour suitable for solo travelers? Is it possible to organise yourself with other people, that might be doing the same tour but e.g. maybe stay at another hotel or are you mostly on your own?

    • Hi Travel ArgentinaOperatorWritten August 2025

If you stay at a hostel, there is more "sharing experiencies vibe" than in a hotel. Hostels have large common rooms where you meet fellow travelers. For example when you stay in El Chalten and do the self guided treks, it is best to try to coordinate with other trekkers. When you stay at a hotel, it is more difficult. Our travelers tend to be social and get easily involved with others, but there is no guarantee they will do the same tour as you do or go to the exact same destinations.
