Kathmandu
You'll land at Kathmandu airport and get picked up for the drive to your hotel. Depending on your arrival time, you might head into Thamel to walk around the streets and get a feel for the city, or you can take it easy and rest up if it's late.

Landmarks Thamel - Day 2
Kathmandu
This day focuses on Kathmandu's historical side. You'll see stupas, temples, and palaces throughout the city, many of them recognized as UNESCO World Heritage Sites. The architecture here really shows Nepal's building traditions and offers a lot of history to take in.

Kathmandu to Chame
An early start for a long drive into Nepal's landscape. The first part goes on paved roads to Besisahar, then you'll spend about 5 hours on rougher mountain roads, passing through villages as you head toward Chame. You'll arrive in the late afternoon.

- Day 4
Chame Trek
Today you'll trek on steep and narrow trails through forest with rock faces nearby. A striking vertical rock formation comes into view, followed by Paungda Danda, a massive sloping rock face that rises over 5,000 feet. The terrain is challenging but the views are worth it.

Trek to Ngawal
You'll climb uphill with great views around you. The Annapurna Ranges block rain from monsoons, so the landscape here is drier with wind-carved rocks and slow-growing pines. You're heading to Ngawal, where you'll see the Annapurna Ridge throughout the day.

- Day 6
Acclimatization Day
This is a rest day before you head higher up. Instead of staying put, you can walk to nearby spots, meet locals, learn about how they live and what they eat. It's a good chance to adjust to the altitude while getting to know the area better.

Trek to Shree Kharka
You'll trek downhill heading west, with rivers and forests along the way. The route takes you through Kangsar Village, then back uphill to Shree Kharka. From here you'll have views of Gungang Himal and Mt. Chulu.

Trek to Tilicho Base Camp
Trekking today takes you to Tilicho Base Camp at 4,200 meters elevation. The path is newly built and narrow in places, with views of Tilicho Peak during the trek. You'll climb to reach the base camp at higher elevation.

High Altitude Trek
This is a tough trekking day with very steep sections, narrow trails, and loose rock or landslide areas to navigate. Conditions are difficult, but the rock formations you pass are really striking.

Trek to Ghunsa
You'll trek toward Marsyangdi Valley with streams and the village of Tenki on the way. The trail climbs through pastures and juniper forest, ending at Ghunsa village where traditional flat mud-roofed houses dot the landscape.

Trek to Thorong La Pass Base
This uphill day is the hardest of the Annapurna Circuit as you prepare for the pass tomorrow. You're climbing to higher elevation and you'll see Mt. Gundang, Mt. Syagang, Thorung Peak, and Mt. Khatungkan around you.

- Day 12
Thorong La Pass
You'll reach Thorong La Pass at 5,416 meters, the highest point on the Annapurna Circuit. From there you descend toward Muktinath through snow-covered terrain. It's demanding but the views from the pass make it worthwhile.

Muktinath to Jomsom
Muktinath is important to Hindus, Buddhists, and Jains alike. You'll visit Vishnu Temple and a Gompa, seeing pilgrims from India. After that, you'll head back to Jomsom with views of Mt. Dhaulagiri, which is over 8,000 meters tall.

- Day 14
Jomsom to Pokhara
An early flight takes you from the mountains to Pokhara. The small plane flies through a gorge between Annapurna and Dhaulagiri, two 8,000-meter peaks, giving you a unique aerial view. Once you land, the rest of the day is yours to relax.

Pokhara to Kathmandu
You'll travel from Pokhara back to Kathmandu, passing through hilly villages and alongside the Trishuli River. The winding roads take you back through rural Nepal after your time in the mountains. Later, there's a farewell dinner with the group to reflect on the trip.

Departure
