- Valentina· April 15th, 2025Automatic translation available in English. View in EnglishAmazing! If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. From the day I booked, Hamid contacted me to give me all the details of the tour. I had questions and he answered them very quickly. We were also lucky enough to do the tour with Hicham. He was excellent! Very kind, concerned and respectful. He was available throughout the tour to make sure everything went smoothly. The accommodations were very, very good. Overall, tremendous tour with the best agency. I highly recommend it!Show moreMorocco Sahara Desert Travel commented on this reviewThank you so much for your amazing review! ???? - Charli· January 11th, 2024What a way to experience so much of Morocco!!! Rather than basing myself out of one city I opted to do the multi day private tour in a brand new air conditioned car to see as many cities as possible. Having a local private driver who spoke fluent English meant quick and insightful stops without the big tour groups. In Fez and Marrakech I used a local guide to walk the old city markets to find all the hidden secrets. Make sure you try as many local foods as possible like Tagine, Fresh juices, couscous, bessara soup, amlou and more. Hamid and his team were super flexible on how to plan and execute the itinerary. My highlights were the incredible blue city of Chefchaouen and camping in the Sahara desert and riding the camels. There is so much culture in Morocco you won’t ever be bored. As a female traveler I always felt safe! So make sure this trip is on your bucket list!Show moreMorocco Sahara Desert Travel commented on this reviewDear, Thank you very much for your balanced and fair review of Morocco Sahara Desert Travel. - PMpeachy· April 14th, 2023This was a good tour. The one day stays were sufficient for the place. Any more days, I felt, would have been just killing time. Things to note: there's a lot of driving. The distance between two points is roughly three hours. Minimum. But that is the way the country is. The tour company cannot do anything about this fact. When in Ait Ben Hammoud, buy the saffron and mint water painting. You will not find that anywhere else. Purchase a djellaba for the Sahara tour. It's the perfect piece of clothing for the place because it protects you from the sun , heat, wind and sand. Wear pants for the camel ride. The seat on the camel can irritate the skin. Also, bring your own light for the Sahara tour. I brought a battery powered candle. It is really dark inside the tent once lights are turned off.Show moreMorocco Sahara Desert Travel commented on this reviewDear, Thank you very much for your balanced and fair review of Morocco Sahara Desert Travel. - ASAlina· December 28th, 2022Our tour was delayed by 2 years due to COVID. The tour company was great and very flexible with us changing dates. The wait was totally worth it. Our tour guide/ driver Aziz was very thoughtful, caring and informative. He helped us learn a lot about Morocco and the values the people hold. The trip allowed us to see many of the main attractions in Morocco, the highlights included the night in the desert, the hotel in the Gorge (run by a local family which provided lovely food and the best entertainment), a visit to Chefchaouen, exploring the medina in Fès and feeding the monkeys at the Cedar Forest (don’t forget to bring some fruit). It’s a fast paced trip with a lot of hours on the road, but don’t let that put you off. We did the 9 day tour, however, the tour can be covered over a longer time period which I would recommend if you have the time. Thank you Aziz and everyone else who made our trip possible!Show moreTrip date: November 2022
- BKBrooke· November 30th, 2022Vacation of a lifetime! I reviewed many different tour packages and companies, but I felt that the Morocco 9 Days Tour from Marrakech was the best way to see as much of the country as possible in the time we had. Be wary that splitting time between Morocco and Spain/Portugal or spending a week in Marrakech will cheat you out of so much more that Morocco has to offer. My husband and I had many trip highlights, but a few included the camel ride and camping in the Sahara Desert, visiting the historic village of Ait Benhaddou, and taking in the view of Chefchaouen from the Spanish Mosque. The medinas in Fes and Marrakech were culturally rich and a fascinating contrast to the newer and more modern parts of the cities. Unfortunately for my husband and I, getting to Morocco was a logistical nightmare. Flight delays caused us to arrive after the tour had already started, and in addition to that, the airline lost our luggage. Hamid, the owner, was in constant contact with us and coordinated a driver for our transfer to meet up with the tour group. Hamid even met up with the tour group briefly while we were in Marrakech, which was a thoughtful touch. Our guide and driver, Youssef, was funny, thoughtful, and when he told us he was at our disposal, he meant it. When our luggage never arrived, Youssef was kind enough to not only take us to the mall but walked with us store to store and helped us pick out new clothes. Hamid and Youssef helped us navigate an extremely stressful situation and we couldn’t be more grateful for their kindness. There is a lot of time spent in the van during this tour, but it never felt overwhelming. There were frequent stops at scenic overlooks, co-ops, and other sites which helped break up the time. Local guides in Fes and Marrakech were friendly and knowledgeable on the history of the area. In Fes, we were taken to a rug shop and leather shop and heavily pressured to purchase goods. I understand the need for this, as the economy depends so heavily on tourists, but the rug shop felt uncomfortable. I don’t know why at any point it would be assumed that such a large purchase would be made so flippantly. All other interactions throughout the trip felt much more organic. Riads were modest (by western standards) but gorgeous. Even more importantly, the staff were warm and welcoming and made us feel like family. We enjoyed the hearty breakfasts that were prepared each morning. The riads were also perfectly located to be able to easily walk to restaurants, markets, and other historical sites. Morocco is a true gem! -Brooke and Jason, USAShow moreMorocco Sahara Desert Travel commented on this reviewDear, Thank you very much for your balanced and fair review of Morocco Sahara Desert Travel. - HMHemant· October 15th, 2022Morocco Sahara Desert Travel and its staff provided excellent services in all areas throughout our ten days of travel, 1200 miles+ in Morocco. They provided personal attention, focused on various details to make our visit quite memorable. I highly recommend them to anyone who wants to explore Morocco. Our guide/caretaker/driver, Aziz, was quite attentive, knowledgeable, gave us history and background of what we were visiting; was timely, responsive and cooperative. Staff at all Riads was very humble and took care of us genuinely and always with smiles. All this resulted into a very memorable visit that will stay in our hearts for a long time.Show moreMorocco Sahara Desert Travel commented on this reviewDear, Thank you very much for your balanced and fair review of Morocco Sahara Desert Travel. - JLJuliana· January 21st, 2020Hamid, the owner, stayed in touch via email the entire time leading up to the trip. He then met me and my mother at the airport, introduced us to our driver and brought us to our first Riad. The entire trip he remained in contact via WhatsApp, and our driver, Youssef, was professional, fun, kind and all-around amazing. Each tour guide that we had at the cities we stayed in were amazing. The trip had very little downtime (except when we slept at night) and included a fantastic adventure as we toured the country of Morocco in 9 days. If you're looking to learn about culture, shop, and have amazing experiences to take with you for a lifetime, this is certainly it!Show moreMorocco Sahara Desert Travel commented on this reviewDear Juliana Thanks for sharing your great experience with Morocco Sahara Desert Travel here in TourRadard.
