What our customers ask about this tour

Asked on December 19th, 2024Can you give more information on this safari? Is April a good time to visit or is it the wet season?
- Adventure Purists Ltd.Operator•Written December 2024
April marks normally the end of the rainy season and some roads in the National Parks can still be closed. It is also not the best time for game viewing as animals are widely spread across the National parks as there is water everywhere (they are not concentrated along the river courses as they are during the dry season). On the other hand the vegetation is lush and green and birding is very good. As for now, we don't have other clients booked for this tour in April and we will need a minimum of 4 participants to run the trip.

Asked on February 18th, 2023Hi my friend and I are looking to book on to your livingston-Lusaka 5-day overland tour starting on the 6th of August 2023. The final day of our previous overland tour will have finished at Victoria Falls on the morning of the 6th. The itinerary for your tour states that travellers will be collected from their previous accommodation, do you think this would be feasible for us?
- Adventure Purists Ltd.Operator•Written February 2023
Unfortunately we don't have availability any more for this tour on 6th August.

Tracy
Traveler•Written February 2023Please can you recommend another overland tour starting in the areas local to Victoria falls
- Adventure Purists Ltd.Operator•Written February 2023
We don't have any free capacity this year between 25.7.-18.8.2023. The scheduled trips are fully booked and we have another big group booked at this time.

Asked on February 3rd, 2023Do the tours not run later then 10 dec as indicated on your website due to rainy season? Can you advise if there are any other departure dates or tours available?
- Adventure Purists Ltd.Operator•Written February 2023
We cannot run these camping trips through Kafue National Park during the rainy season as many tracks and roads are not accessible and closed. We don't have other scheduled departures during this period of the year.

Asked on July 18th, 2022Is it to get a room instead of camping? How much would it be for a private room?
- Adventure Purists Ltd.Operator•Written July 2022
We will need a minimum of 4 participants to run the trip. You can book Lodge accommodation but this will be between 400-500 US per person per night.

Brenda
Asked on July 10th, 2022Could it be possible to change the tour to a lodge tour?
- Adventure Purists Ltd.Operator•Written July 2022
We can run a private 6 days safari through Kafue National Park for you. For your daughter the rate will be US 200 less.
- Adventure Purists Ltd.Operator•Written July 2022
A lodge tour in Kafue National Park is very expensive, this is minimum US 300 per person per night. Lower Zambezi National Park would be cheaper as the lodges we use are just outside the parks borders.
- Adventure Purists Ltd.Operator•Written July 2022
You can hire sleeping bags from us for US 20 per person.

Asked on April 1st, 2022Do you have a trip from Livingstone to Lusaka for those dates? Or do you have Lusaka to Livingstone a bit earlier in May. I am just wondering because I would like to fly out of Lusaka around May 29-30.
- Adventure Purists Ltd.Operator•Written April 2022
The price is US 990 pp plus single supplement US 60 pp. Please bring your own sleeping bag and pillow (or hire from us for US 20).
- L
Leanne
Traveler•Written April 2022Could you do US 990 for everything including the sleeping bag and pillow?
- Adventure Purists Ltd.Operator•Written April 2022
The hire for the sleeping bag and pillow needs to be paid cash on arrival. The single supplement is an additional fee for using a single tent. Sorry, but we can't give any discount.
