Itinerary
- Day 1
Athens to Kalambaka
You'll catch the morning bus from Athens Larissa Railway Station at 08:00am, traveling through the Greek countryside toward Kalambaka. The journey takes about four and a half hours, so you'll arrive around 12:45pm. Your driver meets you at the train station and takes you to your hotel to settle in. Later in the afternoon, you'll join the Meteora Sunset Tour by VIP minibus to see the rock formations and learn about this distinctive area. This tour gets you oriented to the landscape and gives you nice views of the region as the day winds down.

Kalambaka
You can choose how you want to spend your morning. There's a Half-Day Tour of Meteora where you'll see the main attractions and Byzantine monasteries by VIP minibus, or you can do the Hiking Tour if you prefer to walk among the rock formations. Both options include history and details about the monuments in the area. Either way, you'll be back at your hotel by 13:00pm. That leaves your evening free to wander around on your own, grab dinner locally, or rest at the hotel.

- Day 3
Kalambaka
Your entire day is completely free. You can explore the area however you like on your own, check out nearby villages, hike around the rock formations, or visit monasteries at your own pace. If you want more structured activities, there are optional add-on tours available through the tour operator, but nothing is scheduled or required. This is your time to do what interests you most.

Kalambaka to Athens
The morning is yours to do as you like. Later at 17:30, a taxi will pick you up from your hotel to take you to Kalambaka train station. The bus departs at 17:45 and you'll arrive back in Athens at 22:26. It's a good idea to have dinner or grab something to eat before heading to the station, or you can eat on board if that works better for your timing.
