    Pros: the tour coordinator, Salwa, was responsive and excellent. Our guides were knowledgeable. Cons: we did not do the advertised itinerary - items listed on the website were simply not included. Additionally, I asked to add on the famous Bazaar in Cairo and this was agreed to before I started the tour but then the day of the tour it never happened. Our guide for Cairo spoke way too quickly and rambled on nonstop. Instead of doing our requested itinerary (in our Private tour), he took us to his friends’ shops where there was high- pressure sales. Driving to and back from Alexandria took longer than the actual time spent in the city. Overall would not recommend this tour or this company. Also the boat cruise is not worth it and very tacky.

    This tour was awesome. We were meet at the airport by Mohammad(he was holding a sign with my name on it). He took to a waiting van driven by John(a very safe and courteous driver). Mohammed checked us into our hotel. For the next two days these two gentlemen showed us all the sites and treated us like family. I was pressed byohammed's vast knowledge of Ancient Egypt and his knowledge of Cairo and the surrounding area. I would highly recommend this tour and I would ask for Mohamed by name. Ten stars across the board!!

  • Payment information
    • For any tour departing before August 10th, 2025 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after August 10th, 2025, a minimum payment of 30% is required to confirm your booking with Ancient Egypt Tours. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
    • Some departure dates and prices may vary and Ancient Egypt Tours will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
