Our Egypt guide (Mahmoud Ramadan), especially, was very knowledgeable, approachable, courteous and kind. He operated as part of team of Egyptian guides to meet the needs of our 2 groups, as activities overlapped or journeys went separate ways. We travelled during the local winter time and it was a great time to avoid the excessive heat and crowds. My favourite place in Jordan ended up being Wadi Rum. We were able to ask questions on history, geography, politics, religion, customs, etc. His tour of the Cairo Museum was short, but great. In fact, everything on the Egypt portion was excellent. If I had to pick one stop it would have been Abu Simbel. Because we went through four major guides, I will comment on the others. as well. Going to Hurgada with Momo was good. The downside of that portion of the trip was the 23 hour day from Hurgada > Cairo > Aman > Petra. I think that days should be broken into two days. The highlight there was the snorkeling trip. My daughter snorkeled, and I had the boat ride. Three stars. The lady in Jordan was very good. Petra was certainly the highlight of that trip. Four stars. The man in Israel was very informative. It had not been all that important for me to go to Israel before I left home, but I did really enjoy it while I was there.
