  I recently completed the Everest Base Camp trek with Sherpa Expedition, and honestly, it was nothing short of life-changing. From start to finish, every detail was handled with such care and professionalism that I could just focus on soaking in the breathtaking experience. The flights were arranged smoothly and on time, which immediately took away the usual travel stress. Landing in Lukla, I was greeted by friendly faces and a genuine warmth that set the tone for the entire journey. Our guide from Sherpa Expedition was incredible — knowledgeable, patient, and deeply connected to the mountains and the culture. His stories, insights, and constant encouragement made the tough moments feel manageable, and the easy moments unforgettable. Staying at Sandpa Teahouse was a highlight on its own. The cozy atmosphere, delicious local food, and the welcoming hospitality of the staff made it feel like a second home amid the rugged Himalayan wilderness. Every step towards Everest Base Camp was filled with awe — the stunning landscapes, the silent majesty of the towering peaks, and the profound sense of accomplishment as I reached the base of the world’s highest mountain. If you’re dreaming of this trek, I can’t recommend Sherpa Expedition enough. They make the journey safe, seamless, and truly special. This trek didn’t just meet my expectations — it surpassed them in every way.

  We were a family of three taking on the challenge of trekking to Everest Base Camp, and what an unforgettable journey it turned out to be — all thanks to Sherpa Expeditions, our incredible guide Phu Rinji, and our amazing porter Balaram. From day one, Phu Rinji made us feel like we were in the safest hands possible. With his calm presence, deep knowledge of the region, and genuine care, he guided us not just with his experience, but with his heart. As a family, it meant everything to know that someone was looking out for each of us — checking on our health, adjusting the pace when needed, and always encouraging us with kindness and patience. Balaram, our porter, was simply incredible. His strength, humility, and constant smile lit up every stop along the trail. He treated us like family, not clients. What truly touched our hearts was when they surprised us with fresh fruit — not just once, but several times during the trek. In such a remote and rugged environment, having a variety of fresh fruits was a luxury we didn’t expect — and it showed just how thoughtful and caring they both were. As we made our way through high altitudes and changing weather, we always felt safe. Every step was supported. Every concern was heard. They created a space where we could enjoy the beauty of the mountains and the strength of our family bond, without worry. Reaching Everest Base Camp as a family was emotional in itself, but sharing that moment with Phu Rinji and Balaram — who celebrated with us like old friends — made it even more special. Their happiness was sincere, and we’ll never forget that feeling. This wasn’t just a trek — it was a journey of trust, care, and deep connection. We are so grateful for everything they did to make this experience safe, comfortable, and unforgettable.   We, 2 Dutch brothers, 64 and 71 years old, did our 12 day EBC trek from the 12th of March 2025. On the day of our departure, there were no flights from Kasthmandu to Lukla. Very fortunately, we did manage to get onto the last helicopter that day. While it rained steadily in the afternoon during our trek to Phakding, it turned out this was the last day we had any precipitation. From then on it was glorious sunshine! And the trek, although hard work, was glorious from beginning to end. The views got better and better- from simply stunning to incredibly stupendous. Our guide, Santa Tamang was brilliant- very experienced (100+ times to EBC) he offered the right kind of guidance and support. In addition, he provided great insights into the local people and customs. It helped that his English was at least as good as ours!

  I recently completed the Everest Base Camp trek with Sherpa Expedition, and it was an unforgettable experience. Our group of 18 trekkers was led by the incredibly knowledgeable and experienced guide, Lakpa Sherpa. From start to finish, the entire journey was seamless, safe, and incredibly rewarding. Lakpa's expertise and leadership were crucial to making the trek not only successful but also enjoyable. His deep knowledge of the region, the mountains, and the local culture brought the journey to life. He made sure we were well-prepared, provided valuable insights about the landscape, and kept the group motivated through every challenging step. The trekking team at Sherpa Expedition was top-notch, ensuring our accommodation, meals, and logistics were smooth throughout the journey. We had excellent support from the porters, who were strong and reliable, always with a smile. The stunning views of the Himalayas, the sense of accomplishment when we finally reached Everest Base Camp, and the friendly, welcoming locals made the trip even more special. This trek was a fantastic adventure, and I would highly recommend Sherpa Expedition to anyone considering trekking to Everest Base Camp.   Really great experience! Dawa Sherpa and Dorje were both incredible and we would not have made it without them. The weather did mean we were delayed 4 days in starting the trek but Ram did his best to help us. The scenery and the history were absolutely beautiful and the accommodation including the food were absolutely better than expected. We made friends for life with others on the tour and would absolutely recommend this trek to anyone.

  Everest Base Camp October 2024. Ram at Sherpa Expedition and trekking company did an excellent job at organizing our trip to EBC for 9 of us from ages 23-67. Ram answered all of our questions promptly and took care of our every need. During the 12 days of trekking, our guides Mindu and Nima were extremely helpful. Mindu who has submitted Mt. Everest few times, was knowledgeable, helpful, caring and friendly. Mindu gave us great advice daily on how we can improve and make our journey possible. He constantly asked us about our health and checked on all of us. His efforts and encouragement made it possible for us to complete our dream. Nima was always with us and became best friends with our kids! Nima was with us every step from the day we landed in Kathmandu till the day we flew back. The team of Mindu including Nima and the 5 portors (Chiri, Tirtha, Manoj, Sam, Jigresh) were like a family to us and took such a great care of us. Will be using your service and Mindu as guide for future trek to Annapurna base camp! Thank you Ram, Mindu& team for an amazing service and memorable experience!!

  The tour to Everest basecamp was incredible! It was made even more memorable with the amazing Sherpa Ngawang WangChuu and the 2 porters, they worked so hard to make it a special trip and bonded as a group. We made such wonderful memories I will never forget. WangChuu was very passionate about his job and his stories of his family and life and climbing to the summit of Everest was inspiring.
