Itinerary
- Day 1
Arrival in Accra
You'll land at Kotoka International Airport where your guide meets you for the drive to your hotel. They help with check-in at noon and brief you on what's coming up during your stay.
- Day 2
Accra to Kumasi
Start by handling currency exchange at a bank or ATM. If you arranged it, meet with a tailor for measurements for custom African attire. After that, head to Bonwire Kente Weaving Village to see how traditional kente cloth is made, then move on to Ntonsu Craft Village to watch adinkra cloth production from start to finish.

Kumasi
Walk through Kumasi's cultural sites beginning at Prempeh II Jubilee Museum to learn about Ashanti life and see the former king's personal items. Next, visit Okomfo Anokye Sword Site where an unmovable sword planted nearly 300 years ago is said to protect the kingdom. Finish at Manhyia Palace, the current Ashanti King's residence, with statues and furnishings showing royal history.

Kumasi to Cape Coast
Travel to Assin Manso Slave Camp and River, where enslaved people underwent final rituals before being taken to coastal castles. Check out the Ancestral Graveyard where descendants from Jamaica and New York have been returned and laid to rest. This site holds Pan African Festival and Emancipation Day events.

Cape Coast to Western Region
Start your morning at Kakum National Park, Ghana's second largest, and walk the 350-meter canopy walkway suspended 40 to 50 meters up through the forest. The aerial views give you a different perspective, and it's good for testing your comfort with heights. Later, head to Cape Coast Castle, the smallest castle built for slavery and now a UNESCO site, to learn about the 'Door of Return' and ancestral repatriation.

Western Region to Axim
Take a 15 to 20 minute boat ride at Beyin through beautiful river scenery to reach Nzulenzu, a village built on stilts near Takoradi. Walk around and learn how the community lives on the lake connected to the ocean and understand their history and traditions.

Axim to Cape Coast
Spend a quieter day at your resort or go to the beach for swimming with nice views around you. The area offers nature walks, spa treatments, water sports, and local games like Ludu and Oware if you want activity. By evening, drive back to Cape Coast for your overnight stay.

- Day 8
Cape Coast to Accra
Visit Elmina Castle, the oldest and largest castle south of the Sahara, built in 1482 as a trade settlement before being converted to dungeons. It's a UNESCO World Heritage Site connecting to the history of enslaved people held and shipped from here. Then drive back to Accra for the night.

Accra
Pick up your custom African attire from the tailor with any final adjustments done. Afterward, see the Kwame Nkrumah Museum and his burial site with personal items and where independence was declared. Check out the Arts and Craft Market for Ghanaian crafts and souvenirs, then finish at Black Star Square to see the Independence Arc and Monument of Liberation. Nightlife options cost GHC50 to GHC100 if interested.

Departure from Accra
Depending on your flight time, you might have time to explore Accra on your own or rest before departure. Pack up and check out by noon. Collect COVID-19 test results if you took one earlier, then head to the airport for your flight home.
