Itinerary
- Day 1
Hanoi
Your driver picks you up at Noi Bai International Airport and takes you to your hotel in Hanoi. After you settle in, the afternoon and evening are open for you to explore on your own pace. The Temple of Literature is worth checking out if you're interested in history, or you could walk around Hoan Kiem Lake where locals gather in the evenings. If you want to dive into the food scene right away, there are foodie tours available that take you through the Old Quarter to try local specialties and street food.

Hanoi to Halong Bay
Head out from Hanoi early in the morning for a 3-hour drive to Halong Bay, taking in the landscape along the way. Once you reach Tuan Chau Tourist Wharf, you'll board your cruise and get settled into your cabin. Lunch comes while you're already out on the water, and then you'll visit Thien Cung cave. Later, stop by a fishing village to see how people live on the water, and pass by the famous Fighting Cock rock formation. Head to Titop Island for some swimming and light trekking if you want activity, then move on to Pearl Farm Village for kayaking through the karsts. Back on the cruise, join a cooking class and relax with tea on the sundeck as the day winds down.

Halong Bay to Hanoi
Start early at 6:00 AM with Tai Chi on the sundeck if you're up for it, then have a light breakfast while the cruise takes you to explore more of the bay. Visit Surprise Cave during the morning, which is one of the better caves in the area. After that, you'll check out and head back to Tuan Chau Tourist Wharf, where brunch will be served. The drive back to Hanoi takes about 3 hours and you'll arrive in the early afternoon. Your driver transfers you to your hotel for check-in so you can rest up.

Hanoi
Have breakfast at your hotel before checking out by noon. Your driver will be ready to transfer you to Hanoi airport in time for your onward flight.
