Itinerary
- Day 1
Srinagar
You'll land at Srinagar airport and get picked up for the drive to your houseboat. Once you're settled in, head out on a Shikara, which is a traditional wooden boat, to explore Dal Lake and check out the floating vegetable gardens. The afternoon and evening are completely yours to do whatever you feel like, whether that's staying on the houseboat or wandering around to get your bearings.

- Day 2
Srinagar to Pahalgam
After breakfast, you'll leave the houseboat and drive toward Pahalgam, a valley known for its shepherds. Along the route you'll stop at saffron fields to see how they grow the prized spice, explore the old Awantipora ruins, and visit Anantnag Sulphur Springs where the water has a distinctive sulfurous quality. Once you get to your hotel in Pahalgam, the rest of the day is yours to settle in and relax.

Pahalgam
This morning after eating, you're heading out for a full day trip. First stop is Chandanwadi, which marks the beginning point for the Amarnath Yatra pilgrimage, then you'll check out Betab Valley, a location that got its name from a Bollywood film shot there. After grabbing lunch, you'll drive about 11 km further to Aru Valley, where the meadows and mountain views are what draw people in, and this area serves as a jumping off point if you're interested in trekking to places like Kolahoi Glacier or Tarsar Lake.

Pahalgam to Gulmarg
Following breakfast and checkout at your Pahalgam hotel, the drive takes you to Gulmarg, which translates to the Meadow of Flowers. You'll get checked into your new hotel and then have the remainder of the day open to look around at your own speed and get familiar with the area.

Gulmarg
After breakfast, you'll spend the day exploring what makes Gulmarg well-known, particularly its ski slopes during winter months and the golf course that sits at one of the highest elevations in the world. Later you'll take a gondola ride, which is basically a cable car, that goes up to Kongdoori and Marry Shoulder, giving you views across the snowy mountain landscape.

Gulmarg to Srinagar
Once you've had breakfast and packed up, the drive back to Srinagar takes up most of the day. Check into your hotel there and the evening is yours to either explore more of Srinagar or just take it easy and rest after traveling.

Srinagar to Sonamarg
After breakfast, you're taking a day trip to Sonamarg, stopping at various scenic spots along the way. Sonamarg is called the Gateway of Ladakh because it's positioned at the transition point. Once you get there, you'll take a pony ride up to Thajiwas Glacier, where snow lingers throughout the year despite the season.

Srinagar Departure
