- Day 1
Arequipa
You'll arrive at Arequipa Airport where someone from the hotel meets you for the transfer into the city. Once you get settled at your hotel, spend time walking through Plaza de Armas to see the neo-Renaissance cathedral and the Santa Catalina convent, which is this centuries-old complex with its own streets and plazas built like a fortress. In the afternoon or early evening, head out to the residential neighborhoods of Yanahuara and Carmen Alto. From there you'll have clear views of El Misti volcano rising above Arequipa.

- Day 2
Arequipa to Colca Valley
After breakfast, you'll drive through the Yura district heading toward Colca Valley. The route takes you through Pampa Canahuas Reserve where you can see vicunas, which are indigenous Andean camelids living wild. You'll cross high-altitude pampas and pass by the Chucura Volcano crater on the way to Los Andes lookout at Patapampa (4,800 metres/15,748 feet), where you'll see multiple volcanoes surrounding the region. Grab lunch in Chivay town, and then transfer to your hotel in Colca Valley for the rest of the day to relax and settle in.

- Day 3
Colca Valley
This morning after breakfast, head to Condor Cross lookout for views into Colca Valley, one of the world's deepest canyons at over 4,160 metres deep. You'll watch condors soar through the canyon, and then descend to the valley floor where you can walk through colonial towns including Chivay, Maca, Achoma, and Yanque situated along the River Colca. Stop at the lookouts of Antahuilque and Choquetico to take in more valley and mountain views. After lunch, drive back to Arequipa for your overnight stay.
