Itinerary
- Day 1
Cusco
A driver meets you at Cusco airport and takes you to your hotel to settle in. This afternoon, you'll walk around the main parts of Cusco City, starting with Plaza de Armas and the Twelve Angle Stone, then heading to San Blas. The altitude here sits around 3,400 meters (11,150 feet), so take it easy for the rest of the day and let your body adjust to the elevation.

- Day 2
Cusco to Machu Picchu to Cusco
An early transfer gets you to Ollantaytambo train station before boarding the train to Aguas Calientes. From there, a bus takes you up to Machu Picchu Archaeological Sanctuary where your guide walks you through the history and design of the Inca structures. You'll have free time to wander around on your own until noon, then it's back on the train to Cusco and a transfer to your hotel.
