- JPJohn· July 23rd, 2019The staff at TTR are lovely and very hospitable and accomodating. They did help make the experience more enjoyable and I would recommend them. There are a definitely a few things that could be improved though in terms of the actual tour. For example, Day 1 - we arrived at our Ger/campsite at 4pm but there are no activities or anything to do/see. I am also certain Day 2 of the Itinerary never happened. The communication and organisation around what was happening or planned could also be improved as often we would be waiting around and have no idea why or what is happening. It would also be more interesting if we learnt more about the history of places and the what and why rather than just where we were in some places. The food and accomodation are as expected but there is room for improvements in the food provided.Show more

- TANIESHA NICOLE· May 7th, 2019We both enjoyed the tour as we saw a lot in the short space of time. Since it was off season the gers were a mixture of good and not so good. We got off to a rough start but TTR and the guide made every effort to ensure that everyone was comfortable thereafter. TTR missed the mark on organization. It would have be better to let us know the daily schedule and timeframe each day and also a bit of information en-route to the sites. My friend and I were slow paced so we missed out on the information about the sites. Also showers would be better after the activities. Overall, we were satisfied. The landscape was breathtaking, the nomadic families were friendly and accommodating and we met some easygoing people the tour. The guide spoke very good English and the drivers were friendly. You’ll enjoy this tour if you don’t mind long drives on bumpy roads, and if you can tolerate basic pit latrines as well as limited showers. Nice glamping experience.
