The trips was what I went for and got. The ships staff were great and tried to make me comfortable especially Cathy, the ship's officer who bought me the daily cruise guide and took me through it. Although I spoke little to no Chinese only using my translator she spoke to me in English and helped me with everything I needed.

My wife and I were generally pleased with the total experience. There were a few hiccups but our main contact, Ben, was fast to respond to us. He was our lifeline!

Unfortunately one day less on the river than stated when booking. Good facilities; spacious, clean cabin. Spacious upper deck. Very good organization of the interesting excursions. The trip through the three gorges was really great, although the constant soundtrack from the commentator, who spoke only mediocre English, would have been dispensable. The food was varied and of excellent quality. Overall very good price/performance ratio

    Asked on June 17th, 2024

I am travelling alone but a private tour is too expensive for one person, so I am wanting to travel in a small group. Can you please provide more information on this tour. I will arrive in Beijing about 16-18th August from Mongolia. I would like to have a couple of days in Beijing to visit the Great Wall and the major city sites before travelling to Lhasa and Chengdu.

Could you confirm that high altitude sickness is ok? What time the tour ends last day? Can you organize post-accommodation in Chengdu? If yes, how much would it cost? Can you organize transfer? Which hotel will they stay at in Chengdu?

High altitude to Lhasa (3650m) is not recommended. Consult your doctor. Last day is a departure day with no exact ending time. Hotel checkout is at noon. Post-accommodation in Chengdu costs USD95 per twin/double room per night including two daily breakfasts. We can organize hotel to airport transfer. Possible hotels are Celebrity City Hotel Chengdu, Chengdu Celebrity Upper Class Hotel, or Dorsett Chengdu Hotel.
